About me and my therapy practice
Counselling is a talking therapy that offers a safe, non‑judgemental space to explore problems, worries, or difficult emotions. While counselling can look different for everyone, people often seek it when they want to make changes in their lives, need support, or wish to understand their thoughts and feelings more deeply.
Every person is unique, and so is the support they need. The counselling I offer is always tailored to you—your experiences, your goals, and your pace.
There are several ways you can access counselling, depending on what suits your lifestyle and abilities. Some people prefer face‑to‑face sessions, which I offer in West Wickham in Kent and
Banstead in Surrey.
Others find telephone sessions more convenient, and many choose online counselling as a flexible and accessible option.
Practice description
I work with Adults, Couples, and Young People aged 13+
My practice is integrative, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches to support each person’s unique needs. I respond to how you present in the room and adjust the approach as needed, ensuring our work remains safe, attuned, and effective. Therapy offers an empathic and genuine space where you can feel supported in exploring your thoughts and emotions.
Together, we can explore past and present experiences to understand how they shape your current patterns, behaviours, and beliefs. We can also look toward your future aspirations and identify the steps that may help you move toward them.
The length of therapy varies for each individual. It depends on your reasons for seeking support, what you hope to gain, and how ready you feel to engage in the process. As we work together, we will regularly review how you are finding the sessions, what you feel you need—which may naturally evolve—and what is emerging for you. I always value your readiness and your pace.
Therapy moves at the pace of the client, not the therapist. This allows you to stay grounded and open to new insights and perspectives in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.

My first session
In our first session, we explore your reasons for seeking therapy, why this feels like the right time, and what you understand therapy to be. We begin to identify the difficulties that feel most pressing and in need of attention. This initial session also gives you the chance to experience the therapy space, meet me as your therapist, and notice how it feels to be in the room.
Above all, it is important that you feel safe, comfortable, and able to be open at your own pace. Building this sense of safety can take time, and that is completely okay.
