About me and my therapy practice
Why am I feeling so miserable even though my life is fine?
Perhaps from the outside, you seem capable, caring and like you’re holding everything together. You look after others, get on with things and do what needs to be done. Yet inside, you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or as though something is missing and you can’t quite understand why.
You may find yourself constantly putting others first, struggling to know what you need, doubting your own feelings or decisions, finding it difficult to say no without guilt, or carrying a deep sense that you are never quite good enough.
Perhaps you constantly question yourself, feel responsible for other people’s feelings, or find yourself repeating familiar patterns in relationships or in your work. You may also be experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, conflict with your mother, or simply feeling stuck in your life.
Whatever has brought you to therapy, I don’t believe you need fixing. The ways we learned to cope early in life often made very good sense at the time, but may no longer serve us in the same way.
I specialise in working with adult daughters of narcissistic or emotionally unavailable mothers and have undertaken specialist training with Dr Karyl McBride, psychotherapist and author of Will I Ever Be Good Enough?
If something here resonates with you, I offer a free 20-minute discovery call. It’s an opportunity to talk about what is bringing you to therapy and see whether we might be a good fit to work together.
Practice description
How I work
I offer a warm, collaborative space where we can slow things down and become curious about what you are experiencing, without judgement or rushing to find answers.
Drawing on Psychosynthesis and NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model), I support you to reconnect with your own feelings and needs, develop greater trust in yourself, and understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
I believe therapy is less about becoming someone better and more about coming home to who you already are.
I am an accredited BACP counsellor and the founder of The Soulspath.
I invite you to a free 20-minute chat, with no obligation. This will allow us to see if we’re a good fit and explore how I can best support you.
At the moment I am working online.
My first session
In our first session we focus on your reason to why you are here and a little bit on your history as well as on your outcome that you are looking for. You can ask me questions about my work. It will help us to see if we have a connection and would like to work together.
