Working from Farringdon, New Cross Gate and online/by phone, I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist with many years’ experience of working in therapeutic settings and an understanding of working with many diverse issues. I am also a qualified Clinical Supervisor - Including Online and Telephone Working. I seek to create a supportive, safe and respectful space for you to explore your life, as a way to think about how you want to move forward. I mainly work using the Person Centred Approach, however, I have also explored and trained in other approaches and I am open to looking at what works best for you as a client. Person centred counselling sees every individual as having the internal resources they need for growth, and supports people to work at their own pace.
Practice description
My practice is GSRD (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity) informed. Previously, I managed METRO charity's LGBTQIA+ Counselling service for 11-25 year olds as well as supporting the volunteer counsellors and clients across the Over 25 service. I am a member of the Gendered Intelligence Network for Therapists and Counsellors. I also am a qualified teacher. My pronouns are she/they.
My first session
Our first session is a chance to work through my client agreement and for me to get a general idea of what is bringing you to therapy. It is also a chance for you to get a sense of how the session feels and then I will ask you to take a few days to decide whether you want to continue.
What I can help with
