About me and my therapy practice

I provide a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what’s happening in your life. My approach is person-centred, which means we work collaboratively and focus on what matters most to you.

Alongside this, I offer practical, solution-focused ideas when appropriate, particularly if you are looking for strategies to help with day-to-day challenges.

Clients often come to counselling when they feel stuck or overwhelmed, or when they are navigating a difficult period in their lives. Together we explore what’s going on for you, helping you develop greater clarity, confidence and understanding.

I work with individuals and parents who may be feeling unsure how to handle challenges in family life, relationships, work or personal wellbeing. Our work together aims to develop new perspectives and practical strategies that feel manageable in everyday life.

I have a specialised focus on neurodivergence in families, supporting those with formal and self-identified autism or ADHD, as well as LGBTQ+ identities.

Some clients come for a single session to talk through a specific issue, while others prefer ongoing support. We regularly review to make sure the work remains helpful and focused on your needs.

Practice description

I work in private practice, offering counselling for adults, including parents navigating the challenges of raising adolescents and teenagers.

Clients often come to counselling when they are feeling overwhelmed, experiencing stress or anxiety, or facing difficulties in relationships or situations at home or work. Parents may also seek support when family life feels tense or when communication with their child has become difficult.

In our sessions, you will have space to talk openly about what is happening in your life. Sessions are relaxed and conversational, focusing on what feels most important to you. My aim is to help you feel heard, supported, and better able to navigate the challenges you are facing.

Many clients find that counselling helps them feel calmer, more grounded, and able to approach situations with greater clarity and perspective.

Some people come for a single session to talk through a specific issue, while others find it helpful to have ongoing support.

These sessions may also be covered by your private health insurance; please check with your provider. I’m also a Bupa recognised therapist.
