About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified integrative psychotherapist and somatic practitioner with over 20 years' clinical experience. As a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), I adhere strictly to the BACP Ethical Framework, offering a safe, confidential, and reliable setting.

As an integrative practitioner, I believe no single therapeutic approach fits every person. I draw flexibly upon psychodynamic and humanistic models, neuroscience, existential philosophy, and body-centred somatic work (including Focalizing).

If you find you often live in your head or struggle with overthinking, integrating mind and body allows us to go beyond just talking about your challenges. Together, we can help you step out of overthinking, cultivate your inner compass, and reconnect with yourself in a gentle, grounded way.

My style is warm, empathic, collaborative, and authentic. I aim to offer a safe, supportive relationship where you feel heard and understood—giving you the space to express yourself freely, make meaningful discoveries, and build lasting emotional resilience.

Practice description

I work with adults (18+) on both a short-term (typically 6–10 sessions) and open-ended, long-term basis. Sessions are held weekly, last 50 minutes, and take place at a dedicated recurring time each week.

My first session

Finding the right therapist is an important step, so our journey begins with a complimentary 15-minute telephone consultation. This gives us an informal opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any practical questions, and check current slot availability.

If we decide to move forward, our first 50-minute session provides a gentle, structured space to get to know each other. During this initial meeting, we will:

• Explore what is bringing you to therapy in more depth.

• Take a brief personal history to understand your background and goals.

• Experience how we work together, weaving reflective conversation with body-centred somatic awareness.

By the end of this session, we will both have a clear sense of whether we feel like a good match. You are under no pressure or obligation to commit to ongoing therapy at this stage.

First Session Fees:

• Work-from-Home Morning Rate (£75): Applies to online video sessions Monday–Friday mornings (9:00am–1:00pm).

• Practice-Based Rate (£90): Applies to sessions hosted from my London Bridge practice space (Tuesday lunchtimes, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons/evenings)—whether attended in person or online.
