About me and my therapy practice

With 13 years of experience as a counsellor, I work in a client-centred, integrative, and ethically grounded way, placing each individual’s unique needs, values, and lived experience at the heart of the therapeutic process. Drawing on the principles of the person-centred approach, I offer a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. Alongside this foundation, I integrate a range of therapeutic models to tailor my work to each client, recognising that no single approach fits all. My practice is underpinned by strong professional ethics, including clear boundaries, confidentiality, ongoing supervision, and a commitment to continuous professional development, ensuring that I provide safe, reflective, and responsible support throughout the counselling journey.

Practice description

Counselling is a confidential, supportive space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and challenges. through our work, you can gain clarity, develop coping strategies, and build resilience to improve your emotional wellbeing and everyday life. Counselling is not something which is done ‘to you’ nor is it a 'quick fix’. It is a non linear process which occurs through collaborative input by both counsellor and client.

About me and my therapy practice

I provide online supervision for therapists to support safe, reflective practice. I usually recommend at least 90 minutes per month, with flexibility around your needs.

I offer online therapy and supervision for counselling students, with reduced rates to support you during training.

Practice description

As a clinical supervisor holding a Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision, I approach supervision through an anti-oppressive, justice-informed, and trauma-informed lens. I view supervision as a collaborative and reflective space where power dynamics, identity, culture, and systemic influences are openly explored rather than overlooked.  I prioritise safety, choice, collaboration, trust, and empowerment within the supervisory relationship. I support supervisees in developing ethical, culturally responsive practice by encouraging critical reflection on bias, privilege, and structural inequalities that may impact their clinical work. My approach balances supportive containment with constructive challenge, fostering professional growth, resilience, and accountability while ensuring that both client welfare and practitioner wellbeing remain central.
