About me and my therapy practice
As a Specialist Clinical Psychotherapist, I offer comprehensive psychological therapy for mental health and emotional difficulties, specialising in complex post-traumatic stress disorder as well as relationship and emotion control/regulation problems (including anxiety and depression).
I have over 25 years of clinical experience and offer sessions in-person, from a quiet consulting room in the heart of Cheltenham, as well as online using WhatsApp. Therapies I am trained to deliver include CBT, EMDR, Schema, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. I tend to integrate aspects of each type of therapy to provide a treatment that is tailored and specific.
Practice description
As a trained psychotherapist, I can help you understand the lasting impact of trauma by focusing on your lived experiences, rather than defining you by a diagnosis. It offers a safe, confidential space to express and process your thoughts and feelings, gain insight into your challenges, and develop healthier ways of coping.
With the support of a trained psychotherapist, you can strengthen your emotional and mental well-being, improve your relationships, and build more effective communication skills.
During sessions, you will have the opportunity to explore your concerns at your own pace. While this process can sometimes feel challenging, your therapist will support and guide you with care and sensitivity, encouraging self-reflection, resilience, and meaningful personal growth.
