I am currently taking on new clients struggling with peri-menopause and menopausal transition. I work Monday to Thursday, day time to late afternoon. All sessions are online from the comfort of your own home.
About me and my therapy practice
I support women who are struggling with the emotional, psychological and lifestyle impact of perimenopause and menopause. You may be feeling unlike yourself - anxious, overwhelmed, low in confidence, tearful or angry. You may be experiencing physical symptoms which are making it hard to function as normal.
Our work will focus on three pillars of wellbeing - physical, psychological and lifestyle.
I offer a warm, thoughtful and practical space where you can talk openly about what is happening for you in each of these areas. Menopause affects not just your body but every area of your life, often at a time when life is already demanding. Together we can make sense of the changes you are going through and help you feel more grounded, informed and connected to yourself again.
My talking therapy is person-centred combined with cognitive behavioural, solution focused and motivational approaches. Alongside talking therapy, I also offer menopause coaching for women who want support with navigating this stage of life in a more practical and forward-looking way. Coaching may help if you need to make lifestyle changes to manage your physical health, stress, work-life balance, responsibilites and self-care habits.
Practice description
My approach is compassionate, collaborative and tailored to you. I draw on counselling and coaching approaches to support both emotional healing and practical change. Some clients come wanting space to explore their feelings in depth; others want help moving forward and finding a way through. We can work in the way that feels most helpful for you.
We start with an in-depth assessment session and then plan a way forward together. For some women this means meeting every week to have a place to talk and gain clarity. For others they may want more of a proactive approach, spacing sessions further out so they can work on taking action and trying out changes to their routines and lifestyle habits.
My first session
We begin with an in-depth assessment session lasting 90 minutes. Before the session I will send you a questionnaire which asks holistic questions about your current life situation. We will spend our first session exploring your answers.
From there we decide what approach would work for you, how often you would like to meet, how to balance our focus between the three areas of physical, psychological and lifestyle wellbeing.
What I can help with
Coach Therapist, Menopause, Women's issues
Types of therapy
CBT, Integrative, Person centred, Solution focused brief therapy
Clients I work with

How I deliver therapy

I work Monday - Thursday up to 3pm. We would try to find a regular time once a month to meet for 1.5hrs (or 1hr if you are supplementing other supervision).
About me and my therapy practice
Good supervision is at the heart of keeping us safe and sane as therapists. It is where you balance the needs of your clients with your own well-being as a practitioner and the need to grow and develop in your career.
As an integrative therapist with over 20 years clinical experience, I offer a blended approach to supervision. This weaves together clinical discussion and support, working together on your accreditation or other training and career goals, and mentoring to help you set up or develop your private practice.
My supervision style is supervisee-led but is based on a 3P model:
Philosophy - a shared attitude to client work, what it means to be a therapist and the complexities and demands of the work we do
Purpose - to offer you insight & support with your practice and help you to grow and develop as a professional
Process - a fluid, two-way communication which parallels the relationship we both aim to offer our clients
My own therapy model is integrative, combining core models of person-centred, CBT and psychodynamic theory but I am familiar with multiple ways of working and modalities.
I have worked in my own practice since first qualifying in 2005 and am passionate about helping therapists manage the responsibilities of working this way with the potential rewards.
I currently supervise a range of therapists from different backgrounds working in a variety of contexts and theoretical models, so if you are interested in finding out if we could work well together, please don't hesitate to make contact, I would welcome an initial conversation.
Practice description
We would agree a time to meet online every month for 1.5hrs (or 1hr if you are supplementing other supervision). Each session will depend on what you need to bring and this will be a mix of talking about yourself and anything which might be affecting your work at the time, and focusing on client work as well as professional issues like CPD, work opportunities and career development.
I am available for additional support as needed in between sessions and we can discuss how this works.
All sessions are online from the comfort of your own home or practice location.
My first session
I offer a free 30 minute online 'meet and greet' session to check that our ways of working are well matched and if we both feel I could be the right supervisor for you. It will be a chance to discuss you and your current practice. I'm interested in knowing about the context you are working in, your current caseload, your goals for CPD or career development and what you would like to get out of supervision on a regular basis.
I can tell you about how I work and my areas of knowledge and expertise, including private practice and accreditation if this is something you are interested in pursuing.
You can ask any questions to help you find out if I am the right fit to be your supervisor and we can discuss how our sessions might look if we decide to go forward.

Good supervision is at the heart of keeping us safe and sane as therapists. It is where you balance the needs of your clients with your own well-being as a practitioner and the demands of your practice.
As a supervisor, I bring nearly 20 years clinical experience to supporting you with your practice. I have worked in a wide variety of different settings including with EAPs, insurance companies, private organisations and within mental health settings.
My supervision style is supervisee-led but is based on a 3P model:
Philosophy - a shared attitude to client work, what it means to be a therapist and the complexities and demands of the work we do
Purpose - to offer you insight & support with your client work work and help you to grow and develop as a professional and self-aware person

My own therapy model is integrative, combining core models of person-centred, CBT and psychodynamic theory but I am familiar with multiple ways of working and modalities.
My specialist area is helping therapists working in private practice. I have worked in my own practice since first qualifying in 2005 and am passionate about helping therapists manage the responsibilities of working this way with the potential rewards. I offer a mentoring service for therapists new to private practice to support them in moving from voluntary or employed work into working for themselves, as well as support through the BACP accreditation process.
