About me and my therapy practice

Welcome. I am a trauma clinician with 15 years experience of working with neglect, abandonment and abuse, having been Clinical Director for Khiron Clinics IOP setting up the Day Clinic in 2021. I provide trauma-informed private care for clients with complex trauma, anxiety, OCD, and depression. You may experience rumination, loneliness, hopelessness, despair, dissociation, helplessness, self-harm, feeling suicidal and intrusive thoughts. Using a 3 stage trauma model,  I can help you have hope and feel that "it is ok to be me."

I help clients feel seen heard, understood, and to connect and belong.

I use evidence-based science informed interventions such as EMDR, neurofeedback, somatic bodywork, mindfulness, and Polyvagal theory to help clients regulate their nervous system, resolve trauma, and create healthy relationships.

My work utilises all of these trauma modalities as a united framework.

I am a fully qualified and accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, a member of EMDR Association UK and the Sensorimotor Institute. I previously studied Business and Finance and later an MA in Psychotherapy. I have a background as an entrepreneur, running a successful design company for 2 decades, which has informed my therapy skills relating to professional developMy background:

Practice description

I work in person in West and Central London and online globally.

Welcome to The London Trauma Practice, where myself and my consultants are dedicated to helping you transform your life. We specialise in assisting clients to overcome trauma-related states and responses such as dissociation, anxiety, depression, self-harm, intrusive thoughts, OCD, rumination, feelings of hopelessness and helplessness, suicidal thoughts, and moments of terror. Using various trauma modalities, including EMDR therapy, parts work and mindfulness sessions, we work with a 3-stage trauma model to stabilise and reduce symptoms, bringing regulation, connection, and safety to the body and mind. This approach allows for gentle processing of trauma through our integrated, creative, and embodied techniques, detailed below.

At The London Trauma Practice, I believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. Contact us today to start your journey towards lasting change and book an initial consultation.
