About me and my therapy practice
I'm an integrative psychotherapist with over 20 years' experience, beginning in the NHS. I'm accredited with the UKCP and BACP, and I work with individuals and couples from my consulting room at 37 Queen Anne Street, just off Harley Street in Marylebone, and online.
People come to me with anxiety, depression, loss, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, and times of change or uncertainty. My work draws on psychodynamic, existential and transpersonal traditions, and on Heart and Mind, a model I've developed to help clients tell apart the busy, critical voice of the mind from their deeper sense of self.
Sessions are 50 minutes, weekly, and begin with an initial consultation. I also offer clinical supervision for therapists, and therapy and mentoring for university students.

Practice description
I'm an integrative psychotherapist with over 20 years' experience, beginning in the NHS, where I worked for four years in an adult mental health team. I'm accredited with both the UKCP and the BACP, and I see individuals and couples at my consulting room on Queen Anne Street, just off Harley Street in Marylebone, and online.
People come to me for many reasons, including anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, and times of change or uncertainty. You don't need a clear reason to begin; often the first step is simply understanding what has brought you here.
My work draws on psychodynamic, existential and transpersonal traditions, adapted to what you need rather than following a fixed method. I have also developed a model I call Heart and Mind, which helps you notice the difference between the busy, often critical voice of the mind and your deeper sense of self.

My first session
We begin with an initial consultation. It's a relaxed chance for you to tell me what has brought you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a sense of how I work. Together we'll consider whether working together feels right, and there's no obligation to continue. If we go ahead, we'll meet weekly for 50-minute sessions at a regular time, in person or online, whichever suits you best.
I also offer clinical supervision for therapists, having trained in supervision at the Metanoia Institute, as well as therapy and mentoring for university students.
