About me and my therapy practice

Warm, Experienced Counsellor, Supporting Individuals & Couples | In Person & Online

Hello and welcome,

With over 20 years' experience in private practice, higher education, and mental health settings, I offer a warm, confidential, and supportive space where you can explore whatever is bringing you to therapy.

I work with individuals and couples facing a wide range of life's challenges, including anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, loss, life transitions, and issues relating to ADHD and neurodiversity. Together, we will work towards greater understanding, resilience, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

I offer therapy both in person and online, allowing us to work together in a way that best suits your individual needs and circumstances.

As a person-centred and integrative counsellor, I believe that feeling genuinely heard, understood, and accepted can create the conditions for growth, healing, and lasting change. I tailor my approach to each client, drawing on a breadth of professional experience and additional training in couples counselling, somatic trauma counselling, mindfulness, cognitive hypnotherapy, and integrative supervision.

Alongside my private practice, I am a clinical supervisor supporting trainee and qualified counsellors, and I facilitate a support group for people living with secondary breast cancer through Breast Cancer Now.

Individual sessions are 50 minutes and couples sessions are 60 minutes. Appointments are available both in person and online.

Choosing a counsellor is an important decision. I offer an initial telephone consultation where we can discuss what brings you to counselling, explore any questions you may have, and consider whether working together feels right for you.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP-accredited counsellor and integrative supervisor with over 20 years’ experience in supporting therapists.

My supervision is relational, reflective, and collaborative. I create a safe space where supervisees can explore their clinical work, relational dynamics, and ethical questions.

My approach balances warmth and challenge, helping you reflect on your practice, process complex material, and strengthen your professional confidence.

I work with counsellors at all stages of their professional journey, offering supervision that is tailored to your needs, insightful, and supportive.

Practice description

Supervision with me provides a protected and reflective space to pause, think, and explore your work in depth.

Together we focus on case reflection, relational dynamics, countertransference, ethical dilemmas, and professional development.

I offer both individual supervision and small group supervision, online across the UK or in-person in Truro (TR1).

Sessions aim to support you in developing your professional voice, sustaining your resilience, and increasing clarity in your practice.

My style is integrative and relational, combining curiosity, challenge, and encouragement in equal measure.

My first session

I offer an initial phone conversation to get to know you and your supervision needs, and to explore whether my approach feels like the right fit.

After this introductory conversation, the first supervision session is a full session, following the same structure and focus as all subsequent sessions. In this meeting, we begin the reflective work together — exploring your current caseload, relational dynamics, ethical questions, and areas where you would like support or development.

The aim is to create a safe, thoughtful space from the very start, so you feel heard, supported, and clear about how we will work together.
