Availability
I currently offer sessions Tuesday–Friday during the daytime, with some additional availability on Tuesday and Wednesday in the late afternoons and early evenings.
I understand that life can feel full and unpredictable, so I aim to work flexibly where possible. If you’re unsure whether your schedule fits, you’re very welcome to get in touch and we can see what might work.
Sessions are available both online and in-person in Lichfield city centre.
If you’re new to therapy or feeling a bit unsure, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call so you can get a feel for how I work before committing to anything.
If I’m away or taking time off, I’ll update this here - but I’ll always aim to respond to enquiries within 24 hours where possible.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, untangle what’s going on, and begin to make sense of things in your own way.
My approach is person-centred, which means I won’t analyse you, diagnose you, or tell you what you should be doing. Instead, we work together to understand your thoughts, feelings, and patterns at a deeper level - at your pace.
Many of the women I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in their heads, or unsure of themselves. They often have a sense that something isn’t quite right, but can’t fully explain why. Therapy becomes a space to explore that without pressure to have the “right” answers.
Rather than focusing on quick fixes, I help you build a stronger, more compassionate relationship with yourself. This often leads to greater clarity, self-trust, and a feeling of being more grounded in who you are.
I may gently reflect patterns, ask thoughtful questions, and help you notice things you might not have seen before but the direction of the work always comes from you.
Practice description
I’m a qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP, with over 10 years’ experience working across a young people’s charity, higher education, and private practice.
I mainly work with women in their 20s and 30s who may be struggling with anxiety, overthinking, low mood, or a sense of feeling lost or disconnected from themselves. You might feel unsure of who you are, find it difficult to make decisions, or feel like you’re constantly second-guessing yourself.
I also support clients navigating life transitions, relationship difficulties, identity shifts, and the emotional impact of modern life - including the pressures of social media, work, and expectations around “having it all together.”
Alongside this, I have a particular interest in how hormones can affect mental health, including PMS, PMDD, and changes linked to motherhood. While I don’t diagnose, I can support you in understanding how these experiences may be impacting you emotionally.
Sessions are 60 minutes and available online or in-person in Lichfield.
I offer a standard rate of £60 per session, with a reduced rate of £45 for students, those on low income, or during maternity leave.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve never done it before or haven’t had a great experience in the past.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call before booking, so you can get a sense of me and ask any questions. There’s no pressure to continue if it doesn’t feel like the right fit.
In our first full session, we’ll begin by gently exploring what’s brought you to therapy and what feels important for you to talk about. There’s no expectation to have everything figured out or to explain things perfectly - you can take your time.
I won’t ask you to complete formal assessments or come with anything prepared. This is your space, and we go at your pace.
Some people worry about “getting it right” in therapy, but there isn’t a right or wrong way to do this. You might come with lots to say, or you might not know where to start - both are completely okay.
The first session is really about beginning to get to know each other and seeing how it feels to talk. From there, we can decide together how you’d like to move forward.
