About me and my therapy practice
Life can feel overwhelming at times. You might find yourself constantly overthinking, worrying about getting things right, or feeling like you're carrying more than you can manage. Perhaps you're juggling work, relationships, family expectations, or trying to figure out who you are and where you're heading. On the outside, you may seem like you're coping, but inside things feel exhausting.
If any of that sounds familiar, you're not alone.
I offer a calm, supportive space where you don't have to pretend everything is okay or have all the answers. Together, we'll explore what's been happening, make sense of your thoughts and emotions, and help you understand yourself with greater compassion rather than self-criticism.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, overwhelm, low confidence, relationship difficulties, burnout and life transitions. My practice has a particular focus on supporting younger adults (18–40), as I know this stage of life can bring unique challenges. Whether you're starting your career, navigating changing relationships, questioning your direction, or feeling the pressure to have everything figured out, therapy can help you slow down, reconnect with yourself and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Practice description
I have been a qualified counsellor for over 11 years and also have over 20 years’ experience supporting people across health, education, and social care settings. I hold a degree in Psychology from University College London and a Diploma in Counselling from the University of the West of England.
As an integrative counsellor, I believe there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person brings their own experiences, strengths and challenges, so I tailor our work to you. We might explore what's happening in your life right now, while also gently looking at the deeper patterns that influence how you think, feel and relate to yourself and others.
Above all, I want counselling to feel like somewhere you can simply be yourself. My aim is to build a genuine therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, heard and accepted, even when you're talking about the things you've never shared with anyone else.
Clients often come to counselling hoping to feel less anxious, more confident and more in control of their emotions. While I can't promise to make life's challenges disappear, I can support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself, building healthier ways of coping, and creating lasting change that feels meaningful to you.
I offer individual counselling for adults aged 18+, with face-to-face sessions in Bristol and online appointments across the UK. Sessions last 50 minutes, and I offer a free initial consultation so we can talk about what you're looking for and whether working together feels like a good fit.
Taking the first step towards therapy isn't always easy, especially if you've never had counselling before. If you're curious about whether it could help, I'd be happy to have an informal conversation with you.
My first session
The initial consultation is a chance for us to meet and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
We’ll talk about what’s brought you to counselling and what you’re hoping for, at a pace that feels comfortable. I may ask a few gentle questions to understand more about your current situation, but there’s no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to.
I’ll also explain a bit more about how I work and you’re welcome to ask any questions—whether that’s about counselling in general or what sessions with me might be like.
We’ll spend some time discussing practical details too, such as session times and availability. By the end, you can decide whether you’d like to go ahead, with no obligation.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a Bristol based therapist and trainee supervisor, offering both online and face to face supervision.
I have been working in private practice as a therapist since 2015 and also have experience of working in schools and the NHS. I am an integrative practitioner and, whilst the core of my practice is person-centred, I draw on different approaches in my work depending on the needs of the individual. I have recently undertaken an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision (including online supervision).
Supervision is a vital part of the work we do as therapists and it is important to me to create a safe, supportive relationship where you can feel comfortable sharing your challenges and successes and through which we can openly and honestly explore your work with clients and how this is impacting you.
I offer a free initial consultation to enable us to explore your practice values, what I can offer in more detail and the way we can work together.
Face to face session are charged at a rate of £45 per 60 minute session or £60 per 90 minute session.
Online sessions are charged at a rate of £40 per 60 minute session and £55 per 90 minute session.
