About me and my therapy practice
I am passionate about supporting people’s mental health, personal growth, and development, and about empowering individuals to make meaningful and positive changes in their lives.
I have a particular interest in working with young adults experiencing anxiety. This stage of life can bring unique pressures—academic, social, professional, and personal—and anxiety can leave you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck. You may find yourself overthinking, struggling to manage intense emotions, feeling disconnected from others, or unsure how to understand or express what you’re going through.
I offer a supportive space to explore these experiences at your own pace. Together, we can work towards understanding your anxiety, developing healthier ways of coping, and building a more compassionate and balanced relationship with your thoughts and emotions. Therapy can help you gain new perspectives, let go of outdated beliefs about yourself, and move towards living in a way that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I work collaboratively, drawing on a range of approaches to suit your individual needs. My work is grounded in a relational, person-centred approach, with a strong emphasis on empathy, safety, and trust. I am particularly interested in how past experiences shape our present, and how developing self-awareness and self-compassion can support meaningful change.
Whatever brings you to therapy, I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where all parts of you are welcome.
Practice description
I am a fully qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor, with over 20 years’ experience working with young people and adults across a range of education, health, and social care settings. I have previously worked with adult clients in the NHS and within school counselling services, and since 2016 I have been running a busy private practice.
I offer face-to-face sessions in and around central Bristol, as well as online sessions across the UK. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework.
I hold a degree in Psychology from University College London and a Diploma in Counselling from the University of the West of England. I have also undertaken an Advanced Diploma in Supervision (including online), and offer both face-to-face and online supervision.
In private practice, I work with adults aged 18 and over, offering both short-term, goal-oriented work and longer-term, open-ended therapy.
To help you decide whether I am the right counsellor for you, I offer a free 30-minute initial consultation.
My first session

About me and my therapy practice
I am a Bristol based therapist and trainee supervisor, offering both online and face to face supervision.
I have been working in private practice as a therapist since 2015 and also have experience of working in schools and the NHS. I am an integrative practitioner and, whilst the core of my practice is person-centred, I draw on different approaches in my work depending on the needs of the individual. I have recently undertaken an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision (including online supervision).
Supervision is a vital part of the work we do as therapists and it is important to me to create a safe, supportive relationship where you can feel comfortable sharing your challenges and successes and through which we can openly and honestly explore your work with clients and how this is impacting you.
I offer a free initial consultation to enable us to explore your practice values, what I can offer in more detail and the way we can work together.
Face to face session are charged at a rate of £45 per 60 minute session or £60 per 90 minute session.
Online sessions are charged at a rate of £40 per 60 minute session and £55 per 90 minute session.
