About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and experienced Individual and Couple Psychodynamic Counsellor & Psychotherapist and Psychosexual therapist. I trained at Tavistock Relationships, and I host my private clients at Finchley Central Practice.
I understand that it might be hard to seek help and share thoughts and feelings about personal matters, especially about intimate relationships and intimacy. I offer my service in a confidential, respectful space, and I value differences in culture, gender, and sexuality.
After initial contact from a client, I will schedule a consultation to see if we can work together. Following this meeting, the ongoing work is weekly. I can offer flexible hours if necessary.
I also offer online counselling in a safe, secure setting for both individuals and couples. This service can also be used by couples who reside separately, even abroad.
In addition, I am a trainee supervisor and offer low-cost supervision. My specialist training, combined with my extensive clinical experience, has given me a deep understanding of, and appreciation for, the complexities of relationship work. It enables me to provide supervision for therapists working with a wide range of relationship and psychosexual issues, whether their clients are individuals or couples.
I see supervision as a collaborative, containing space in which you can deepen your understanding of both the therapeutic process and your clinical work. I aim to provide an empathetic, thoughtful, non-judgemental environment for thinking, reflection and interpretation.
While completing my supervision training, I am offering low-cost supervision (£30 per session) for the first year. To meet my training requirements, these sessions are offered at least fortnightly.
Feel free to contact me for a chat if you need more information.
Practice description
We are born with a desire to couple with someone, as a baby with the mother, as a child with a sibling or a friend, and as an adult we look for a partner. However, all these couplings can pose challenges and confusion for us.
In regard to romantic and intimate relationships, particularly when communication breaks down ,or intimacy becomes a source of tension. People may find themselves repeating the same arguments, feeling emotionally distant, or struggling when the physical intimacy in their relationship has stopped.
The psychodynamic approach helps bring awareness of emotional patterns, past experiences, and relational dynamics that may influence present difficulties. To support all aspects of relationships, I undertook additional training as a psychosexual therapist, enabling me to address sexual concerns that affect intimacy.
I have extensive experience working with adults of all ages from diverse cultural backgrounds, and I value inclusive practice, welcoming people from LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities.
I offer in-person sessions in Finchley Central, North London, as well as online therapy.
I worked as a visiting clinician at Tavistock Relationships for four years after my qualification, and previously at the Psychosexual Clinic at St Mary’s Hospital. Before training as a psychotherapist, I studied Social Work at Inholland University in the Netherlands and have worked extensively supporting clients through organisations including Home-Start UK, Place2Be, Barnet Refugee Service and the NHS.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified psychosexual therapist, experienced Individual and Couple Psychodynamic Counsellor & Psychotherapist. I trained at Tavistock Relationships, an internationally renowned charity for advanced practice, training and research to support couples, individuals and families.
I understand that it might be hard to seek help and share thoughts and feelings about personal problems, sexual issues and intimacy. We might fear being judged or misunderstood. Therefore, I offer my service in a non-judgmental, friendly, confidential and containing space.
Relationships can bring us into contact with old wounds or underdeveloped parts of the personality. Therefore, relationship psychotherapy, whether for an individual or a couple, has the capacity to repair what has been hurt or damaged. Do not ignore the red flags; they are guidance toward a healthier emotional and relational place.
I would like to mention that I have worked with diverse cultural, gender, and sexual backgrounds.
Feel free to contact me for a chat if you need more information.
Practice description
Psychosexual therapy is a cognitive-behavioural program that includes exercises. The duration of therapy depends on the issue and its severity.
Individual and couple psychodynamic psychotherapy and relationship counselling are relational approaches. It focuses on the whole person and what is carried to the relationship. It provides a deep understanding of the problems and aims to create and maintain healthier and more resilient relationships.
I have extensive experience working with adults of all ages from diverse cultural backgrounds, and I value inclusive practice, welcoming people from LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities.
I offer in-person sessions in Finchley Central, North London, as well as online therapy.
Alongside my private practice, I worked as a visiting clinician at Tavistock Relationships for four years after my qualification in 2016. Furthermore, I have previously worked at the Psychosexual Clinic at St Mary’s Hospital. Before training as a psychotherapist, I studied Social Work at Inholland University in the Netherlands and have worked extensively supporting individuals, couples and families in a wide range of settings, through organisations including Home-Start UK, Place2Be, Barnet Refugee Service and the NHS.
I am a registered member of BACP (MBACP), a registered member of COSRT (RegCOSRT), an accredited relationship therapist at COSRT, and a professional member of ESSM.
Both services are open-ended, which means the client can terminate therapy at any time. However, a two-week notice is very much appreciated.
