About me and my therapy practice
My job is to turn my attention to you and what’s going on for you, then to design a combination of therapies that will help you sort it out. Through our work together you will feel resourced and confident to work with yourself and the world you live in, so you can think better, feel better, live better.
I work with the body and mind because together they are powerful allies in achieving better mental health. Therapy explores how you are thinking, how you are feeling and what your body is holding. I can help you change how you are thinking when its unhelpful, tune into your feelings when that’s helpful and be able to use your body to settle your mind and steady your nervous system.
I have 15 years working experience as a therapist, 30 years as a behaviour change psychologist. I trained in somatic/body-based psychotherapy in the USA with the late and highly respected Dr Patricia Frisch.
I know anxiety inside and out and specialise in the treatment of different forms of anxiety.
I am a clinical specialist in neurodiversity and have neuro affirming systems and strategies that work.

Practice description
I’m a down-to-earth therapist with just the right dusting of the poetic. I believe that when people are resourced with the right support and the right skills, they can become positive agents of change in their life. The best therapy gives people the confidence to adapt to what life chucks at them, without losing themselves.
I give clear guidance and proper support. At the same time, I go at your pace. I adapt therapy to you, what’s going on for you, how deep you want to go and what you want to get out of it.
Good therapy is a spirited working relationship that supports and challenges. I’m a great fit for people who are willing to work and ready to make some changes.
My first session
The first full session is an opportunity to hear from you in more detail, explore your therapy goals and positive outcomes and agree a treatment plan or direction.
