About me and my therapy practice
I am a highly experienced, trauma-informed psychotherapist and supervisor, supporting individuals, families, and couples to navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, and personal growth. I work across cultures, values, and identities, bringing sensitivity, insight, and a deep understanding of how personal and cultural context shapes our experiences.
In addition to my clinical practice, I provide supervision for other therapists and trainee counsellors, sharing my knowledge and supporting reflective, safe, and ethical practice. My background includes extensive work with Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and insurance providers, giving me expertise in navigating both workplace and personal challenges.
I work integratively, blending psychodynamic, person-centred, and practical approaches tailored to each client’s needs. I have substantial experience supporting neurodiverse clients, clients with learning differences, and families seeking to improve communication and relationships. My sessions are designed to be impactful, collaborative, and empowering, whether online via Zoom, WhatsApp, or phone.

My first session
I offer a free 15-minute phone call before our first session, giving you a chance to ask questions, share what you hope to achieve, and see if my approach feels like the right fit. In the first full session, we focus on what brings you to therapy now and explore the key issues you want to address. The session begins with a brief introduction and contracting, followed by a focused conversation on your current challenges. We then reflect together on what feels most important to work on, what strategies may help, and any key insights. This gives you a clear sense of how counselling works and allows us to set meaningful goals for your journey.
