Weekend sessions may be available by special agreement, depending on individual needs and circumstances.

For critical or high-risk situations, I provide 24/7 standby availability, ensuring support can be accessed when it matters most. This service is reserved for urgent cases and is arranged on an individual basis.

If I am temporarily unavailable or out of office, this will be clearly communicated, and I will always aim to respond to enquiries as promptly as possible. Your wellbeing, safety, and continuity of care are always a priority.

Please feel free to reach out to discuss current availability or to explore whether my practice is the right fit for your needs.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a fully qualified and BACP-accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience, working with both adults and children. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Psychology and have extensive training in Criminology and Criminal Psychology, alongside significant experience supporting clients affected by the immigration and asylum process.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, with a strong foundation in Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I work collaboratively, compassionately, and at a pace that feels safe for you, tailoring therapy to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

I have a particular soft spot for neurodiversity. As a therapist who is autistic and has ADHD, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. I support clients with ASD, ADHD, and other neurodivergent profiles, creating a space that is respectful, validating, and neuro-affirming.

I have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, couples, individuals affected by domestic violence, and those living with a wide range of mental health difficulties, including trauma-related conditions.

I work primarily online, offering flexibility and accessibility, and I provide reduced-fee sessions for clients who may be experiencing financial difficulty.

I offer therapy in English, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish, all spoken fluently.

Above all, my practice is grounded in safety, empathy, professionalism, and respect, supporting clients to feel heard, empowered, and understood.

Practice description

What You Can Expect From My Practice

My practice offers a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space where you are met as a whole person, not a diagnosis or a problem to be fixed. I work collaboratively, meaning we move at your pace and focus on what feels most important to you.

I use an integrative approach, grounded in Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), adapting sessions to your individual needs, goals, and communication style. Therapy with me is structured when helpful, and open and exploratory when needed, always guided by your priorities.

I have extensive experience supporting children, adults, and couples, including those affected by trauma, domestic violence, neurodiversity (ASD/ADHD), immigration stress, identity issues, and mental health difficulties. As a neurodivergent therapist, I offer a neuro-affirming approach that values difference and understands lived experience.

Sessions are primarily online, offering flexibility and accessibility. I aim to create a calm, contained therapeutic environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to develop insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

I work ethically and professionally in line with BACP standards, with a strong focus on safety, confidentiality, and trust. Reduced-fee sessions may be available for those experiencing financial hardship.

Therapy with me is about understanding yourself more deeply, strengthening your emotional resources, and finding ways forward that feel authentic and sustainable for you.

My first session

My First Session – What to Expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other in a safe, calm, and non-judgemental space. There is no pressure to share more than you feel ready to — we will go at your pace.

During this session, I will gently explore what has brought you to therapy, any current difficulties, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I may ask some background questions to help me understand your experiences, wellbeing, and any relevant history, but this is not a test or formal assessment unless clinically appropriate.

We will also discuss how therapy works, confidentiality, boundaries, and practical arrangements, ensuring you feel informed and comfortable. If helpful, we may begin to identify initial goals or focus areas, though this can evolve over time.

For some clients, particularly those who are neurodivergent, experiencing trauma, or feeling overwhelmed, the first session is primarily about creating safety, clarity, and trust rather than problem-solving.

I do not require lengthy forms before the first appointment; however, a brief intake or consent form may be requested where appropriate. The first session is charged at the same rate as ongoing sessions, unless a reduced fee has been agreed in advance.

By the end of the session, you should have a clearer sense of whether my approach feels right for you and how we might move forward together.
