About me and my therapy practice
I’m a UKCP- and BACP-registered psychotherapist, Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist and Approved Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in mind/body work. I originally trained in Transpersonal/Integrative Psychotherapy and was based in Harley Street, London for many years. I now work exclusively online.
I work particularly well with highly driven professionals and entrepreneurs, especially those in tech, finance, law, media and the arts. Many of the people I work with are capable and successful in their outward lives but find certain emotional or relational patterns repeating in ways that don’t make sense.
I work well with people for whom talking about personal matters feels difficult, including those who feel disconnected from their bodies or from themselves.
I’m not easily shocked and understand the importance of moving slowly and sensitively. My approach is kind, practical, down-to-earth and creative.
My work uses research-based, trauma-informed and body-oriented approaches to help people understand their emotional responses, reconnect with their bodies and develop greater self-awareness. Over time this can help bring greater stability, clarity and freedom in relationships, work and life.
Before becoming a therapist I worked in fast-moving, high-pressure environments including entrepreneurial, management and live events work. This background often helps me understand the pressures faced by people working in demanding or high-performance fields.
I work with issues including developmental and attachment trauma, difficult family relationships, abandonment, shame, anxiety, stress, burnout, depression, identity struggles, and addictive or compulsive behaviours.

Practice description
Sessions last 50 minutes and take place online via Zoom. I work weekly, as I find consistency helps create the safety, stability and momentum needed for deeper work.
My approach combines careful conversation with body-based awareness. Many people who come to see me have already spent years thinking about their difficulties, yet still feel stuck. Often there is a gap between what they understand intellectually and what is happening emotionally or physically in the body.
Part of the work involves slowing things down enough to notice what is actually happening in the moment. This might include paying attention to subtle shifts in the body, exploring emotions as they arise, and gently making links between present-day reactions and earlier experiences.
I draw primarily on Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), both research-based trauma therapies that work with the nervous system rather than relying solely on talking.
The pace of therapy matters. We work collaboratively and carefully, paying close attention to what feels manageable. My role is not to push or overwhelm, but to help you gradually develop the capacity to stay with your experience more safely, with greater clarity and choice.
Over time, clients often report feeling more grounded in themselves, with a clearer understanding of their emotional responses and more freedom in how they respond in relationships, work and stressful situations.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who are used to solving problems through analysis, competence or endurance, yet find certain patterns repeating in ways that do not make sense. Therapy can offer a space to explore those patterns in depth and begin relating to them differently.
