About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Helen, very often things stand in our way to us enjoying even the simplest pleasures in life. You may need help with Anger, Anxiety, Guilt, Shame, Depression or Stress. You may be experiencing a Relationship Breakdown, struggling to come to terms with the death of someone close or you may want to become more self aware, understanding yourself and those around you, then Vision Counselling is here to help you. I am a counsellor & supervisor working with both adults and Children & Young People.
I am also experienced in supporting those who have experienced sexual assault and rape and survivors of childhood sexual abuse including those that have dissociative symptoms due to the trauma that they have experienced. I understand the importance to offer you a safe confidential non-judgmental environment.
I offer you Counselling from premises in both Broadway and in Evesham, on the edge of the Cotswolds in Worcestershire on the border of Gloucestershire.
I have over Twenty years experience working with people who need help working through various and numerous issues. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to have worked alongside people and witnessed positive change in their lives.
I am also a qualified supervisor with a Certificate in Relational Supervision -Adult & CYP focused.

Practice description
I use an integrative counselling approach so that I can respond to the individual needs of my clients, where my prime focus is to help you express, explore and externalise your emotions - so that you can be present in here and now situations and leave historical emotions behind.
My first session
Our first meeting together you will be able to tell me something of your story and what it is that has brought you for counselling. You can then decide if you feel you would like me to be your counsellor as it is important for you to feel comfortable in the counselling relationship.

About me and my therapy practice
My supervision qualification is a CPCAB in Relational Supervision with an Adult & Children & Young People Focus. I have a private practice in Broadway but also offer online supervision, which I find to be extremely effective platform for supervision ensuring the relational connection is at the heart of my work with my supervisees. As well as my counselling & supervision qualifications I have a PGC in sexual violence and I am a Tutor & Assessor for Talk Well on a level 5 Diploma CPCAB CYP course. I also supervisor counsellors for Talk Well. I am also an external Assessor on a CPCAB supervision course for LRS training.
Practice description
I welcome the opportunity to offer supervision to counselling and psychotherapy students as well as those who are both recently qualified and more experienced counsellors and other mental health professionals. I also offer supervision to the teaching community. I integrate the Hawkins & Shohet Seven-eyed Model of supervision incorporating Inskip & Proctors Managerial, Educative & Restorative elements to best meet the needs of supervision. To ensure you feel that I am the correct supervisor for you at this time I offer either a 30 min phone or zoom call so you get a chance to feel how we may work together as it's important that you feel comfortable in your decision before you commit to a supervision appointment - here you will get the chance to ask questions and communicate what you are looking for in a supervisor.
