I work flexibly from Monday to Friday and currently have a few varied spaces available for new clients.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and BACP-accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor with over 10 years’ experience working with patterns of abuse, neglect, and complex relational trauma.
I specialise in trauma-informed narcissistic abuse recovery counselling, supporting adults who have been impacted by emotionally abusive, manipulative, or coercive relationship dynamics and who wish to restore their sense of self.
I work with clients who have experienced narcissistic or emotionally abusive relationships and who may feel confused, self-doubting, emotionally depleted, or disconnected from themselves as a result.
My experience includes working with the long-term psychological effects of gaslighting, emotional manipulation, boundary erosion, and loss of identity following abusive dynamics.
Practice description
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in psychological safety. I work at a pace that supports nervous system regulation and avoids re-traumatisation.
Therapy offers space to explore what has been experienced, reduce self-blame, and rebuild self-trust, self-worth, and a clearer sense of personal boundaries. I aim to provide a consistent, respectful, and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship.
How therapy may help:
Counselling can support clients to:
* Make sense of abusive relationship dynamics
* Rebuild trust in their own perceptions and feelings
* Address the impact of chronic emotional abuse
* Strengthen boundaries and sense of autonomy
* Reconnect with identity, values, and self-compassion
I am particularly mindful of how subtle and cumulative emotional abuse can affect empathic or highly sensitive individuals. I work collaboratively and with care, recognising each client’s resilience and individual process.
My practice is informed by ongoing professional development, clinical supervision, and adherence to the BACP Ethical Framework.
I aim to offer a calm and containing space where clients feel heard, believed, and supported in their recovery. Healing from narcissistic abuse is a gradual process, and therapy is shaped around what feels manageable and appropriate for each individual.
My first session
I offer a free 30 minute consultation call to answer any questions and for you to get a feel for my style of working. There is no obligation to agree to sessions and you are welcome to take time afterwards to think about it.
If you decide that you would like to go ahead and book in, the first session involves taking some basic assessment details for safe practice. This is done at the start of the session with your consent.

About me and my therapy practice
I have extensive experience working with trauma and abuse. I worked in clinical practice as a Supervisor for 3 years for a local charity. I have been working in a private capacity as an online only Supervisor for the last 2 years.
My practice is humanistic integrative and can encompass various modalities and ways of working.
Practice description
I am interested in working with people who are self reflective and want to better understand the interpersonal dynamics that can activate between Client and Counsellor, particularly transference and counter transference. I have experience in understanding complex relational patterns which can be beneficial for both the Supervisee and the clients that they work with to understand. I am passionate about how early attachment and trauma shape our present day responses and also the process required to earn self security and healthy attachment.
I work from a trauma informed attachment perspective and am interested in offering this knowledge to help others understand the themes and reactions embedded in the nervous system.
I have experience working one to one and in groups.
I aim to create a safe relational space where deep exploration, self reflection and trust can develop.
If you are interested in enhancing your practice by learning about trauma informed work, then please contact me to arrange your free 30 minute consultation.
My first session
I offer a free informal 30 minute consultation to discuss your needs and suitability to work together. If we agree to work together, I will send out a Supervision questionnaire and working contract. I ask that this is sent back to me completed via email, prior to our first session.
Standard rates are:
1.5 hours of supervision - £80
1 hour - £60
I offer a concessionary rate for students of £55 per hour or £75 for 1.5 hours
