About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I am Juanita. I am a person-centred counsellor and somatic trauma therapist, also offering indirect myofascial trauma release therapy. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s inner world. I believe healing unfolds most naturally when clients feel safe, seen, and supported.

My approach is shaped by lived experience of trauma and nearly ten years of professional practice. I work collaboratively, at your pace, integrating talk therapy with somatic and myofascial approaches to support nervous system regulation and embodied awareness. When appropriate, nature-based elements are included to support grounding and reflection within a warm, professional therapeutic space together.
