My first session
Your initial session will be different from our regular sessions. This first meeting gives us space to get to know each other and for you to get a sense of how I work. You’re welcome to ask anything that’s on your mind, nothing is too small, too personal, or too awkward. If it matters to you, then it matters to me and it's important that you have a safe space where you can ask it.
During this session, I’ll ask some questions to understand what has brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping for. I’ll also complete an assessment form to build a clear picture of your experiences so that we can work together in a way that feels safe, supportive and meaningful for you.
