I have over 10 years experience in counselling for all ages, but I specialised in Children and Young People because I believe the earlier you can access support, the more likely it is you'll be able to learn how to cope when life gets hard. As parents we can feel very lost when our children are struggling, so I also offer parent sessions where I can give you tips on how best to support the child/ young person, and how to support yourself/partner. If you find you are struggling to communicate with each other, family sessions can be useful, we'll find the best way for everyone to be heard and move forward. 

I am an integrative practitioner who trained in person centred therapy, attachment theory and an element low level CBT. I have just completed my training in Supervision and now it's time to gain some more practical experience. I like to work in a dynamic way, incorporating creative elements as we go. I have extensive NHS knowledge of working with cancer patients and supporting people with bereavement also. I have worked as a school counsellor for many years, both primary and secondary schools. I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking and also to relax: reality tv. I have three children, two dogs and a husband. I live in the rural countryside, I see clients both online and face to face.
