About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced integrative psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with over two decades’ experience in the field. My background spans psychology, humanistic counselling, and existential psychotherapy, and I also teach and supervise trainee counsellors across further and higher education.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming and reaching out for help can be a big step. It could be that you are experiencing depression, anxiety or a relationship breakdown, or struggling to make sense of your emotions. You may be relying on a crutch that has become unhealthy. Perhaps you want to feel like your old self again, or strive to be a different version of you.

My approach is relational and integrative, informed by contemporary research into what helps people heal and change. I don’t offer advice or quick fixes, but a reflective and attuned space where we can explore how your experiences, patterns, and relationships shape the way you feel and live. Through that process, new perspectives and possibilities emerge - ways of being that feel more grounded, real, and free.

Alongside my general practice, I have particular expertise in working with neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD and autism. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, burnt out, or unsure how to make sense of themselves in a world that doesn’t always feel built for them. Drawing on years of specialist experience in neurodiversity, I help clients move from self-doubt to self-understanding, and begin creating lives that feel authentic, confident, and sustainable.

Practice description

Once you have made your initial enquiry, I will reply to you with some potential dates and times for us to meet online for a free introductory session.  This gives us an opportunity to meet and decide how we can work together.

I would usually suggest we work together for a minimum of 12 sessions, weekly at the same time.  This allows for a rhythm and regularity for the therapy to take place.  However, a lot can be done in 6 sessions - we will discuss how to make therapy work for you in our introductory session.
