About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling overwhelmed by the changes that come with life transitions, changes in health or perimenopause/menopause?
Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem or just don’t feel like your normal self? If so, you don't have to work through these feelings alone.
I specialise in supporting women through menopause, perimenopause and midlife transitions. These years can bring big shifts in health, hormones, relationships, careers and sense of self and identity.
While some changes are expected, others can arrive suddenly and leave you feeling unsettled, isolated or not like yourself.
How I Can Help
Together, we can explore what you’re going through and find practical, compassionate ways forward. Our work might focus on:
Understanding and managing the emotional impact of menopause and perimenopause
Reducing anxiety, stress, overwhelm and low mood
Rebuilding self-esteem, self-compassion and confidence
Coping with relationship or workplace challenges
Reconnecting with your strengths, values and identity
Practice description
I draw on over 13 years of experience as a psychotherapist, counsellor and coach, using an integrative approach that is tailored to you. This means our sessions might combine:
Counselling and psychotherapy gives you the space to process your experiences and feelings
Coaching tools and practical strategies to help you feel more in control
Positive psychology and compassion-focused approaches to strengthen resilience and nurture self-kindness
This combination ensures you get support that’s both empathetic and solution-focused, helping you not only feel clearer and calmer now, but also better equipped for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
In addition to the above, I also offer Single Session Therapy (SST), which is a focused, collaborative approach that recognises meaningful change can happen in one well-structured session.
Rather than committing to longer-term therapy SST offers a calm, supportive space to focus on the one issue that matters most right now. Together we explore what may be keeping the issue going, identify your strengths and resources, and clarify realistic next steps. There is no pressure to continue beyond the session, just a purposeful, compassionate way forward.
For a no obligation, free of charge phone consultation, please contact me with details of your availability for a 15 minute chat.
