About me and my therapy practice

Life is difficult and finding someone you can open up to and share what it is you are struggling with can be invaluable. I offer you a supportive relationship helping you to reflect on your thoughts, feelings and experiences and take the action needed to create a future that better suits you as a person. Through this confidential and reflective relationship, you will be supported to uncover a deeper understanding of yourself and others.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in hospitality, an experience that strengthened my appreciation for people from all different walks of life and the importance of making others feel welcome. Outside of work, I enjoy walking in nature, reading, music, the arts and cooking. My own life has taught me that there are many valid ways to live a fulfilling life, including choosing not to have children, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds, identities and life choices with warmth, curiosity and respect.

Practice description

I work as a humanistic-integrative therapist. This approach respects who you are as a whole person, your uniqueness and all the complexity of the life you now live. I work in a non-medicalised way, still taking into account any diagnosis you may have. I will ask you about your history growing up as this may help you see why you are as you are, and it also gives insight into your uniqueness as a person. My aim is to help you grow and mature as a person, in your work and relationships.
