About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP-accredited and experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor, Interpersonal Psychotherapist (IPT), and clinical supervisor. It is important to me that you feel safe, supported, and understood throughout our work together.
I bring a relational focus to my practice and am curious about your relationship story and how it has shaped your experiences. In a compassionate and non-judgemental way, I will help you explore patterns that may have developed as ways of coping or protecting yourself, but which may now be contributing to distress, difficulties in relationships, feelings of disconnection from your authentic self, or symptoms of anxiety and depression. Together, we can develop greater insight and create opportunities for meaningful and lasting change.
Practice description
My theoretical approach is psychodynamic, and I draw on other therapeutic theories and techniques where appropriate to tailor therapy to your individual needs. With over 20 years of experience across both NHS and private practice settings, I have worked with people facing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties.
I aim to provide a warm, compassionate, and confidential therapeutic space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Rather than offering advice or telling you what to do, I will work collaboratively with you to make sense of your experiences and explore what may be contributing to your current difficulties.
Together, we can develop greater self-awareness, strengthen your sense of agency, and help you move towards meaningful and lasting change. I offer both structured, time-limited therapy (up to 16 sessions) and open-ended psychotherapy for difficulties related to depression, loss and bereavement, life changes, identity, self-esteem, and relationship issues.
My first session
If you get in touch with me, you can expect a swift reply to organise and free informal chat so together we can decide if I am the right therapist for you and if my availability matches yours. If you are happy with our initial chat, we can then agree the start of your therapy. The first 3-4 sessions we will be focusing on building up a picture and an understanding of your difficulties. These sessions can feel more directed as I will be asking you relevant questions to help me form and understanding of what has been bothering you. Following these initial sessions we can decide on how long we might work together, whether this is a time-limited or open-ended arrangement. Sessions take place on the same time and same day of the week. I uphold strict confidentiality boundaries and I adhere to a strict professional code of ethics.

About me and my therapy practice
As an experienced clinical supervisor with a psychodynamic orientation and a qualified IPT Supervisor, I aim to offer a collaborative and supportive supervisory relationship that helps you feel valued, motivated, and confident in your work.
Practice description
Together, we can think about clinical cases, navigate the complexities and challenges of your caseload, develop specific skills through role-play and deliberate practice, and reflect on areas that may feel uncertain, challenging, or emotionally demanding. My hope is that supervision provides a space where you can grow in confidence, deepen your therapeutic practice, and continue to develop as a clinician.
My first session
Once you reach out, you can expect a swift reply from me so we can arrange an informal chat. During this conversation, we’ll consider whether I’m a good fit as your supervisor and discuss the clinical areas or skills you’d like support with. I’m committed to fostering a collaborative, encouraging relationship that helps you feel confident and well‑supported in your clinical work. Building trust and offering genuine support are central to how I work with supervisees.
