About me and my therapy practice
Life doesn't always go to plan. You might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, struggling with relationships or trying to find your way through a period of change. Sometimes, it can be difficult to make sense of things on your own.
I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, feel heard and explore whatever is going on for you. My aim isn't to tell you what to do, but to work alongside you to make sense of your experiences, develop greater self-understanding and find a way forward that feels right for you.
I'm a BACP-registered integrative counsellor with a strong person-centred approach. I adapt my work to suit you as an individual, recognising that everyone brings their own experiences, needs and ways of understanding the world.
I have experience supporting people across the arts, education, charities and private practice.
Qualifications include:
Pearson BTEC Level 5 Diploma Therapeutic Integrative Counselling, RACC
Certificate in Relationship Counselling, Marriage Care
BA (Hons), Sociology, University of West of England, Bristol
Practice description
I offer one-to-one counselling to adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, loss, relationship difficulties and life transitions.
My work is built on creating a trusting, collaborative relationship where you can explore difficult feelings and experiences at your own pace. Whether you're facing a specific difficulty or have a more general sense that something isn't quite right, counselling can offer time and space to understand yourself better and consider what might help.
Alongside my private practice, I have supported cast and crew on theatre productions, including touring shows with the National Theatre and Complicité, providing a confidential space to talk about personal or work-related concerns. I understand that life in the arts can bring its own particular demands, and I'm interested in supporting people as whole individuals, beyond their professional roles.
My first session
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, so I offer a free 10–15 minute introductory chat before you book a session. It's an opportunity to ask questions, tell me a little about what you're looking for and get a sense of whether we might work well together. There's no pressure to commit — finding the right counsellor is important, and I want you to feel comfortable with that decision.
