Availability

I currently offer weekly and fortnightly 90-minute sessions in Bridport, Dorset, and online.

My regular working hours are:

  • Monday , Tuesday and Thursday: 9am–5pm
  • Limited early evening appointments available on request
  • I aim to respond to enquiries within 2 working days.

If I am at capacity, I will offer to place you on a waiting list or signpost you to appropriate support. I believe it is important that you find the right therapeutic fit, even if that is not with me.

Planned time away from practice will always be communicated in advance to existing clients. If I am out of office, my voicemail and email message will confirm my return date and provide guidance on accessing additional support if needed.

If you are unsure whether I am currently taking on new clients, please feel free to get in touch for an initial consultation. We can explore availability and whether working together feels right.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative counsellor and breathwork facilitator with over 10 years of clinical experience. I work with adults who are navigating burnout, grief, neurodivergence, trauma, and significant life transitions. I offer therapy in Bridport, Dorset, and online.

My approach is relational, trauma-informed and grounded in nervous system awareness. I combine traditional talking therapy with somatic and embodiment practices where appropriate. I believe conversation is essential, but sometimes the body also needs support to process what it has been holding. We work at a pace that feels safe and manageable, moving between reflection, emotional processing and practical tools for regulation.

Many clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward after life has shifted. I provide a steady and confidential space where you can explore patterns, process difficult emotions, and develop greater self-understanding.

I have particular experience working with:

  • Burnout and chronic stress
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • ADHD and autism
  • Identity and belonging
  • Relationship and attachment patterns
  • Mid-life transitions and questions of purpose

As someone who is AuDHD and of mixed Irish and West African heritage, I bring lived experience of navigating multiple identities and systems that are not always inclusive. I understand masking, sensory overwhelm and the impact of isolation on wellbeing.

Clients often describe our work as grounding, honest and compassionate. My aim is not to offer quick fixes, but to support you in making sense of your experience and reconnecting with your own inner resources.

Practice description

I work from a calm, purpose-built therapeutic space in Bridport, Dorset, and also offer online sessions for those who prefer to work remotely.

Sessions are 90 minutes, allowing time to settle, explore and integrate. I offer weekly or fortnightly appointments depending on your needs. Our first meeting is an opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy and whether working together feels like the right fit.

My practice is relational, steady and non-judgemental. I will not diagnose, label or rush you. Instead, I aim to create a space where you can speak openly and begin to understand what is happening beneath the surface. Many clients arrive unsure how to describe what they are feeling. Part of the work is gently making space for what has not yet been fully named.

Alongside reflective conversation, I may draw on grounding, breathwork and somatic awareness to support nervous system regulation where appropriate. You are always in control of the pace and depth of the work.

I welcome complexity and contradiction. Grief may sit alongside relief. Anger may sit alongside love. Therapy can hold all of it.

I work with adults from a range of backgrounds, including those who are neurodivergent, navigating identity questions, experiencing burnout, or moving through significant life transitions.

Confidentiality, safety and respect are central to my practice. My role is to offer a consistent and steady presence while you explore, process and reconnect with your own sense of direction.

My first session

I offer an initial 90-minute consultation at my standard session rate. This gives us time to explore what has brought you to therapy and what you are hoping for, without feeling rushed.

In our first session, we will talk about your current situation, any relevant background, and what feels most pressing right now. You are not expected to have everything clearly formulated. Many people arrive unsure how to describe what they are carrying, and that is completely welcome.

I may ask some gentle questions about your history, relationships, work, health and support systems to build a fuller picture. If appropriate, we may also include simple grounding or breath-based practices to help you settle into the space.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of how I work. Therapy is relational, and it is important that you feel safe and comfortable. There is no obligation to continue if it does not feel like the right fit.

If we decide to work together, we will agree on a regular time and discuss practical details such as confidentiality, cancellations and session frequency.

You are welcome to contact me beforehand with any questions or accessibility needs.
