About me and my therapy practice
I am a Humanistic counsellor offering a calm, steady space where adults can explore anxiety, low mood, overwhelm or a sense of feeling stuck. My work is grounded in empathy, curiosity and respect for your lived experience. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative and centred on what matters most to you.
People often come to me when life feels heavier than it should, or when they’re trying to make sense of emotions that feel confusing, persistent or difficult to manage. I pay close attention to what’s happening for you in the moment — the feelings under the surface, the thoughts that keep looping, and the parts of you that may be working hard to cope. You won’t be rushed or pushed somewhere you’re not ready to go. Instead, we explore gently and thoughtfully, making space for clarity, self‑understanding and emotional steadiness.
I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, self‑criticism, relationship difficulties and periods of feeling disconnected from themselves. My aim is to help you feel heard, understood and more grounded in who you are, so you can meet life with greater confidence and resilience.
Practice description
My practice offers a warm, grounded environment where you can talk openly and feel genuinely heard. Sessions are shaped around your needs and your pace. Some people come wanting to understand long‑standing patterns; others need support with day‑to‑day emotions, relationships or moments of crisis. Whatever you bring, we explore it with compassion and curiosity.
Therapy with me is a steady, reflective conversation. I pay attention to your emotional world, your relationships, your nervous system and the experiences that have shaped you. I help you slow down, notice what’s happening inside, and find ways of responding to life that feel more manageable and authentic. Clients often tell me they appreciate the sense of calm, clarity and connection they gain from our work together.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, overwhelm, stress, burnout, self‑criticism and relational difficulties. My practice is relational and attuned, offering both containment and gentle challenge. I value therapy as a place where you can bring the whole of yourself without judgement, and where you can begin to feel more settled, more understood and more connected to your own voice.
My first session
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what you need from therapy. I offer a 15 minute telephone or video call in the first instance, so that we can get to know each other and you can see if I fit your needs at this time.
My initial counselling session is at my usual rate, and it lasts 50 minutes. There’s no pressure to commit — it’s simply an opportunity to see whether my approach feels like the right fit for you.
In this session, we talk through what has brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to gain, and any particular areas you’d like support with. You’re welcome to bring questions, uncertainties or anything that feels important. I don’t use a formal assessment; instead, we have a gentle, structured conversation that helps us understand how we might work together.
We’ll discuss practicalities such as pacing, boundaries, frequency and what helps you feel safe and supported. You’ll also have space to get a feel for my therapeutic style — calm, reflective and attuned — and to consider whether it aligns with what you need right now.
By the end of the session, you should have a clear sense of what therapy with me would look like, and whether it feels containing, supportive and meaningful for you.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer supervision as a calm, reflective space where counsellors can explore their work with depth, honesty and curiosity. My approach is Humanistic and relational, grounded in the belief that supervision should feel supportive, collaborative and spacious enough for you to bring the whole of your practice — your clinical thinking, your emotional responses, your uncertainties and the moments that stay with you.
I work in a steady, attuned way, paying close attention to what is happening for you as a practitioner. Together, we explore your client work, your internal process, and the relational dynamics that shape the therapeutic encounter. I aim to create a supervisory relationship where you feel safe enough to think freely, reflect openly and engage with both the challenges and the rewards of your work.
Supervision with me is not about performance or evaluation. It is a shared space for grounding, clarity and growth. I offer thoughtful challenge where needed, always held within a warm and respectful relationship. My intention is to support your confidence, your ethical awareness and your development as a reflective, resilient practitioner.
I work with counsellors at all stages — trainees building their therapeutic identity, newly qualified practitioners finding their footing, and experienced therapists seeking deeper reflection. My aim is to help you feel supported, understood and professionally nourished.
Practice description
My supervision practice offers a steady, relational space where counsellors can think deeply about their work and feel genuinely supported in their professional development. Practitioners often come to me when they want supervision that is thoughtful, grounding and emotionally attuned — a place where they can explore their client work without judgement and with a sense of being met as a whole person.
In our sessions, you can bring anything that feels important: clinical dilemmas, ethical questions, relational dynamics, moments of uncertainty, or the emotional impact of the work. We explore these together with curiosity and compassion, paying attention to your process, your pacing and the themes emerging in your practice.
I work in a Humanistic, reflective way, offering both containment and gentle challenge. My aim is to help you deepen your clinical understanding, strengthen your therapeutic presence and maintain your wellbeing as a practitioner. I value supervision as a space where you can slow down, reconnect with your professional identity and feel supported in the realities of therapeutic work.
I have particular experience in anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, self‑criticism and relational patterns, and I support supervisees working with these themes in their own client work. I also recognise the emotional labour of being a therapist and offer supervision that honours both your professional role and your humanity.
I am accredited with the NCPS and a member of the BACP, adhering to both ethical frameworks and maintaining ongoing CPD to ensure my supervision practice remains safe, reflective and attuned.
