About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced integrative therapist offering counselling and psychotherapy by phone, zoom or text.

I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel at ease to explore and share your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and I strive to offer a compassionate and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood.

I believe that a trusting, collaborative relationship is at the heart of meaningful therapy, helping you to gently explore your experiences and move towards lasting, positive change.

I offer a free 20-minute introductory phone call, giving us the opportunity to connect and talk about what has brought you to therapy. If you prefer, you are also very welcome to book an initial 50-minute session.

Practice description

Therapy is about you—not me. No one else has lived your life or shared your experiences, and no one else is dealing with exactly what you’re facing right now. Whether it feels big or small, we can explore it together and work toward a way forward.

As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of approaches to find what suits you best. Together, we can reflect on your past (what you’ve been through), your present (how those experiences may still be affecting you), and your future (how you’d like your life to feel different) and go from there.

My first session

I offer a free 15–20 minute phone consultation, giving us a chance to briefly connect and see how it feels to speak together. If you decide you would like to begin therapy, we can then arrange your first session.

The first session is a gentle opportunity for us to get to know one another. You’re welcome to share what has brought you to therapy and what you might hope to gain from it, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We can also talk through practical details, such as whether you are looking for short-term or longer-term therapy, and go over arrangements around holidays or cancellations. Of course, there will also be space for you to ask any questions you may have.
