About me and my therapy practice

I'm Niamh Quinn, I help people with anxiety, depression, trauma and ADHD improve their lives.

I've been a counsellor and psychotherapist for 9 years and I've helped lots of people overcome the overwhelm associated with anxiety, depression, trauma and ADHD.

People are often nervous about starting therapy; this is completely normal and I promise to make every effort to help you feel relaxed.

I offer a complimentary 15 minute discovery call for prospective new clients to help you decide if I'm the right therapist for you. 

 


Practice description

I have availability for in person sessions in Epsom, Surrey.

I also work online with people across the UK and Ireland.

For online sessions, all you need is a phone or laptop with a stable internet connection and a private space to talk. You can bring your pet, a hot drink and a blanket to make yourself comfortable for the session.

I'm a pluralistic counsellor and psychotherapist; this means that I think people can be helped using a range of therapeutic approaches. 

I work with you to decide what therapeutic approach we will take. I'm passionate about helping people feel good about themselves again using all tools and resources available to us.


My first session

In the first session, I will gather some background information about you. This information will help me to understand you as a person and the difficulties you're having that led you to seek professional support.

Once the assessment is complete, I will discuss the range of therapy options I have available for supporting you. Of course, you will also have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Then, I will help you to set some goals for our sessions to ensure the work we do remains outcome focused.
