Have you been affected by trauma, abuse, neglect, or a difficult childhood?
Maybe you find yourself struggling with anxiety, panic, low self-esteem, depression, anger, stress, or relationship difficulties. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, on edge, or caught in patterns that make you unhappy. Or maybe you find yourself overthinking, people-pleasing, doubting yourself, or wondering why certain situations affect you so deeply.
These challenges are often linked to painful childhood trauma, abuse, neglect, loss, or growing up in an environment where your emotional needs were not fully met. These experiences can continue to shape how you feel about yourself, relate to others, and cope with life’s demands.
My approach is trauma-informed - I specialise in supporting adults living with the effects of trauma, abuse, and difficult childhood experiences. My aim is to help you understand what’s happened to you, recognise how those experiences may be affecting your life today, and support you in moving forward with greater self-confidence.
I work with a range of issues associated with trauma and emotional distress, including:
• Childhood trauma and neglect
• Physical, emotional and sexual abuse
• Anxiety and panic
• Depression and low mood
• Low self-esteem and self-confidence
• Shame and self-criticism
• Anger and emotion regulation difficulties
• Stress and burnout
• Relationship difficulties
• Trust and attachment issues
• People-pleasing and boundary difficulties
• Overthinking and self-doubt
• Feeling stuck, lost, or disconnected
Reaching out for support can feel daunting, but I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and explore your experiences at your own pace.
I conduct my appointments online and by telephone with weekday and weekend (Inc.Sun) daytime appointments available.
My standard fee is £50 ps. I also offer discounted block bookings (Details available on request)
