About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome
I offer a safe and supportive space to explore what is preoccupying you from my consulting rooms in Honor Oak, Southeast London, SE23.
I work with individuals (18+) and couples.
My approach to therapy is integrative. It is client-led, focused on your aims for counselling and what might be helpful to you. I blend and integrate several theoretical models (including psychodynamic, attachment and body psychotherapy) aiming to look at the person a whole.
The most important aspect of therapy is the relationship we will develop: this will allow you to explore your experience, feelings, the inner conflicts you might have while feeling supported emotionally. I see the relationship between us as equal. I hope to encourage openness between us and I welcome your feedback.
My practice is open to people of all backgrounds, gender and sexuality.
I hold a Master's in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I trained at the Minster Centre, one of the leading training institutions in the UK.
I am an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor. I have worked in low cost therapy services with a diverse client range on issues such as anxiety and stress, depression, eating disorders, identity questions and life changes. I have extensive experience of working within a bereavement service on complex grief and end of life issues as well as fertility issues.
Practice description
My practice is run from my home. All details are provided when you book your session.
My first session
I offer a free phone call to discuss what brings you to therapy and if I could be of help. Our first session is a consultation. I will ask you a few questions about your own history and well-being to understand if I can help. We will discuss your goals for therapy as well as fees, time and number of sessions. About me and my therapy practice
I am currently completing a supervision diploma at the Minster Centre (completion date December 2026). I am offering low-cost supervision to trainees, qualified therapists working with adults and couples.
I see supervision as a mutual exploration of your clinical practice. I aim to offer a space that is supportive where you can bring your difficulties and celebrate your achievements and that ultimately supports your growth as a therapist and human being.
My approach to supervision is relational and embodied as well as integrative inspired by the various approaches that inform my therapy work (person-centred, attachment, embodied practices, systemic thinking, polyvagal theory).
My supervision practice is open to people of all backgrounds, gender and sexuality.
