Practice description
You’re not broken — there’s a reason you feel the way you do.
Clients often come to me feeling stuck in cycles they don’t fully understand — whether that’s anxiety, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, or self-sabotaging behaviours.
Together, we gently uncover the origins of these patterns, helping you to build a more compassionate relationship with yourself and create lasting change. Felt trauma refers to the emotional impact of not having our basic emotional needs met by our primary caregivers. This can lead to the development of unhealthy core beliefs, unhelpful coping behaviours, mental health challenges, and difficulties in forming and maintaining healthy relationships.
I am an integrative counsellor specialising in felt trauma, working with the deeper emotional roots that shape how we think, how we feel, and ultimately how we relate to others. In our work together, we go beyond simply managing symptoms, exploring why you feel the way you do and how early unmet emotional needs may still be influencing patterns in your life today.
Alongside my private practice, I have held a Clinical Lead role within a domestic abuse and trauma centre, supporting individuals and groups through complex situations. This experience has given me a depth of understanding in trauma work, alongside a grounded, steady presence when working with difficult or overwhelming experiences.
At the heart of my work is a belief that when we feel truly seen, heard, and understood, change becomes possible.
