About me and my therapy practice

I am an accredited psychotherapist (MBACP Accred) with over 15 years' experience supporting adults, young people and couples experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, family conflict, identity issues and major life changes. I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore difficult thoughts, feelings and patterns at your own pace. My integrative approach draws on person-centred and psychodynamic therapy, helping you understand both current challenges and the experiences that may have shaped them. Sessions are available online and in person.

Practice description

There are times in life when you can feel as though you are holding everything together for everyone else, while privately feeling overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected from yourself. You may be struggling with a relationship, family difficulties, low self-esteem, anxiety, a significant life change or experiences from the past that continue to affect you.

Perhaps you understand what is happening intellectually, but still find yourself repeating the same patterns, questioning yourself or struggling to know what you really want. Therapy can provide a safe space to slow things down, make sense of what you are experiencing and begin to understand yourself differently.

I am an experienced, accredited psychotherapist supporting adults, young people and couples with a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties. I particularly work with relationship problems, separation and divorce, family conflict, trauma, domestic and emotional abuse, identity issues, low self-worth and major life transitions.

I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore difficult thoughts and feelings at your own pace. My approach is integrative, drawing particularly on person-centred and psychodynamic thinking. Together, we can explore what is happening for you now, while also considering the experiences, relationships and patterns that may have shaped how you see yourself and others.

I also have extensive experience working with cultural, identity and diversity issues. I understand that family, culture, relationships, expectations and personal values can all influence how we understand ourselves and the choices we make. These areas can be explored sensitively and without judgement or assumptions.

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin with where you are now and work together to understand what you need. If you would like to explore whether I could be the right therapist for you, please get in touch for a conversation.

About me and my therapy practice

As an organisational consultant, I work with leaders, teams and organisations to understand what is happening beneath the surface of everyday organisational life. Challenges such as conflict, communication difficulties, low morale, burnout or resistance to change are rarely caused by one person or one issue. I create space to explore these dynamics with curiosity and without blame.

I take a systems-psychodynamic approach, looking beyond the immediate problem to understand the relationships, patterns, culture and structures influencing how people work together. This includes exploring leadership dynamics, team relationships, roles and boundaries, power, communication, psychological safety and the emotional impact of change.

I work collaboratively with leaders and teams to identify what may be getting in the way of effective working and develop a deeper understanding of their strengths and challenges. Rather than offering quick fixes, I help organisations think differently about complex issues and develop sustainable ways of working.

My work can include organisational diagnostics, leadership development, team development, facilitated conversations, reflective practice, away days, conflict resolution, wellbeing and stress prevention, communication and support through organisational change.

I also provide leaders with a confidential space to step back from the demands of their role, reflect on their leadership and consider how their responses may influence the wider system. I believe psychological safety is essential for people to think, learn, communicate and work effectively.

My aim is not to tell an organisation what it should do, but to help people understand what is happening, why it may be happening and what might need to change. Through greater insight into organisational dynamics, leaders and teams can make thoughtful decisions, strengthen relationships and create healthier, more effective ways of working.

Practice description

I offer a psychologically informed practice bringing together psychotherapy, clinical supervision and organisational consultancy. Across my work, I aim to create thoughtful, safe and collaborative spaces where people can explore challenges, develop insight and identify meaningful ways forward.

With over 15 years’ experience working with individuals, teams and organisations, I bring a depth of understanding of relationships, communication, emotional wellbeing and the impact of change. As an accredited psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, I understand the importance of creating environments where people feel heard, respected and able to reflect honestly.

In my organisational work, I support leaders and teams to understand the dynamics that can influence how people work together. Using a systems-psychodynamic perspective, I explore relationships, roles, culture, communication, leadership, power and the emotional impact of organisational change. My work can include organisational diagnostics, leadership development, team development, facilitated conversations, reflective practice, away days, conflict resolution and wellbeing.

I do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. I work collaboratively to understand the unique context, strengths and challenges of each individual, team or organisation, and tailor my approach accordingly.

Whether working therapeutically with an individual, supervising a practitioner or supporting an organisation through change, my aim is to create the conditions for greater understanding, healthier relationships and sustainable change.

My first session

A focused initial session to understand the organisation’s current challenges, dynamics and priorities. Through conversation and exploration, we identify what is working well, where tensions or barriers exist, and what may be sitting beneath the presenting issues. The session provides a clearer picture of the organisation’s needs and helps shape practical, tailored recommendations for next steps.
