About me and my therapy practice
Life doesn’t always run smoothly, and at times the challenges we face can feel overwhelming. When your own coping strategies no longer feel enough, having a safe space to explore your thoughts and emotions can be an important first step towards healing. Persistent negative thinking and overthinking can make even simple decisions difficult, often leading you to question yourself.
Anxiety, stress and overthinking can start to affect your daily life and if you’re ready for change, counselling can provide support. I offer a person-centred approach, focusing on listening, reflecting together, sharing ideas, and offering feedback without judgement. This allows you to gain clarity and make choices that feel right for you.
Grief is a natural response to loss, but it can often feel overwhelming and difficult to manage alone. Everyone experiences loss in their own way, and there is no “right” way to grieve. If your thoughts and feelings are affected by bereavement and this is affecting your daily life, having a safe and supportive space to explore them can be an important step towards healing.
I offer a person-centred approach to bereavement counselling, where the focus is on listening to you, exploring your experiences together, and gently supporting you as you make sense of your grief. Through this process, you can begin to find your own way forward while continuing to honour your loss in a meaningful way.
I have experience working with young people (14+) as well as adults and older adults. I offer a free 30-minute initial consultation by phone or online, or an in-person session for £30. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to ask any questions before deciding if person-centred counselling is the right fit for you.
If you’d like to arrange an appointment, please get in touch via email, phone, or text. I aim to respond to all new enquiries within 48 hours—please remember to check your junk folder.
