Practice description

I am a BACP-registered counsellor and supervisor with over 10 years of experience providing counselling and mental health support. I hold a Level 6 qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as Level 6 Clinical Supervision. My work has included one-to-one sessions, groups and workshops, supporting individuals in a range of settings, including local charities, students, occupational health and NHS clients.

As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that everyone’s journey is unique. While people may experience similar challenges, their emotions and responses are deeply personal—there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ in counselling. My approach is centred on creating a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace, feeling truly heard and supported.

Alongside my core counselling practice, I have additional training and experience in areas such as animal-assisted therapy, equine-assisted therapy, LGBTQIA+ support, domestic violence, trauma (including childhood trauma), incident debriefing and working with health professionals and emergency services.

I am passionate about the transformative power of counselling and the strength that can come from self-exploration and growth. My aim is to help you find clarity, build resilience and develop strategies that support your wellbeing in a way that feels right for you.
