About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Andreea.
Life can sometimes leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or repeating painful patterns in our relationships. You may be struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, ADHD, questions about identity, or a sense that life is no longer feeling the way you hoped it would.
As a relational psychotherapist with over ten years' experience, I offer a warm, collaborative and reflective space where we can explore not only what is happening in your life, but also why. Together, we can make sense of your experiences, understand recurring patterns, and help you reconnect with your sense of self, agency and worth.
My approach is based on the belief that meaningful change happens through relationship. Therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and explore how past experiences may be influencing your present life. I value accountability, not as blame, but as a way of reclaiming choice and creating new possibilities. If you are willing to approach yourself with curiosity, therapy can become a powerful space for growth and healing.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, bereavement, low self-worth, work-related stress, health anxiety, relationship difficulties, emotional abuse, childhood experiences, ADHD and neurodiversity. I also welcome exploration of identity, belonging, spirituality, creativity, migration, parenthood, and questions of meaning and purpose.
My own experiences of migration and motherhood have deepened my understanding of change, loss, belonging and personal growth.
Many of the people I work with arrive feeling exhausted, stuck, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves. Together, we create a safe and supportive space where these experiences can be explored honestly, helping you develop greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, and a stronger connection with yourself and your life.
Practice description
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy to adults online and in person through Roots Therapy Space.
My approach is relational and integrative, meaning I draw on different therapeutic approaches while keeping the therapeutic relationship at the heart of our work. I believe many of our difficulties develop within relationships, and that healing and meaningful change can happen through relationship too.
Therapy with me is not about being judged, fixed or told what to do. Instead, we work collaboratively to explore your experiences with curiosity, honesty and compassion, making sense of difficult emotions, recurring patterns, and the ways your past may be influencing your present.
I work with anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, bereavement, relationship difficulties, life transitions, work-related stress, health anxiety, ADHD and neurodiversity. I also have a particular interest in identity, belonging, migration, parenthood, spirituality, creativity, birth trauma, and questions of meaning and purpose.
Alongside talking therapy, I am trained in sand tray work and welcome creative ways of exploring experience. Clients may bring paintings, drawings, dreams, imagery or other creative expressions into therapy when words alone do not feel enough.
I offer a warm, authentic and non-judgemental space while also providing thoughtful challenge when needed. Many clients come seeking relief from anxiety, grief or relationship struggles, but often discover greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, clearer boundaries and increased self-compassion.
Whether you are facing a specific difficulty or simply feel that something in your life no longer fits, I can offer a compassionate space where you can explore yourself more deeply and move towards a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
My first session
Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, which is why I offer a free 30-minute introductory conversation. This gives us an opportunity to meet, explore what has brought you to therapy, and consider whether we feel like a good fit for working together. It is also a space for you to ask any questions about me, my approach, or the therapeutic process.
If we decide to work together, we will begin with a few initial assessment sessions. During these sessions, we will explore your current difficulties, your relationships, significant life experiences, and the events that have shaped who you are today. This helps us build a shared understanding of your story and the patterns that may be influencing your present life.
There is no expectation for you to share everything immediately. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, creating a safe and supportive space where trust can develop naturally.
The assessment process also helps us identify what you would like to gain from therapy and how we might work together towards those goals. My aim is to offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental environment where you can begin to explore yourself with curiosity, honesty and care.

About me and my therapy practice
Working with a variety of Supervision models like the 7 Eyed Model and developmental model. I often work creatively and I always have a relational approach to supervision.
Currently undergoing a Clinical Supervision Diploma
Practice description
Clinical supervision is a crucial component of my professional life that brings me immense satisfaction and fulfillment. Here are several reasons why I am passionate about it, grounded in the models and approaches I use:
1. Facilitating Professional Growth
One of the most rewarding aspects of clinical supervision is witnessing the growth and development of supervisees. By utilizing the Developmental Model, I can tailor my approach to meet the evolving needs of each supervisee. This model allows me to support them at various stages of their professional journey, from novice to expert, providing appropriate guidance and challenges that foster their competence and confidence.
2. Holistic Insight Through the 7-Eyed Model
The 7-Eyed Model offers a comprehensive framework that enriches the supervisory process by exploring seven different perspectives and I love to focus on what is more powerful in the room.
3. Creative work and continuous development
