As a counselor, I’m not here to tell you what to think or feel—I’m here to walk alongside you, offering support that’s understanding, non-judgmental, and real. Whether you need a space to reflect, explore, or find solutions, I’m here to meet you where you are.
My approach weaves together elements of existentialism, transpersonalism, and mindfulness, helping you connect more deeply with yourself and your experiences. If you're looking for clarity, meaning, or just someone to truly listen, we can navigate that journey together—at your pace, in your way. And if you’re looking for a solution-focused approach, I can absolutely help with that too!
Practice description
I am naturally curious and engaging, with a relaxed and friendly conversational style that lends itself to effectively exploring thoughts, feelings, perspectives and ideas. I ask thoughtful questions to open up a variety of perspectives, enabling you to delve deep into issues and uncover insights that often lead to innovative solutions. I work to guide you through challenges, help piece together answers, and tailor strategies that truly resonate with your needs.
In my practice I am Neuro Diverse aware. I get the ups and downs that come with Neuro diversity—it’s a mix of challenges and awesome potential. For me, it’s personal since I live with Inattentive ADHD. On top of that, I have family members on the Autism Spectrum, so I’ve seen firsthand the hurdles they deal with, but also the amazing things that can happen when they embrace who they are and have the right support around them.
In our sessions, we'll have a relaxed conversation about whatever is happening in your life—whether that's your feelings, relationships, thoughts, or recurring patterns in your behavior. I'm here to listen, offer support, and share genuine empathy with you. And if you’re comfortable with it, I might gently invite you to explore new perspectives or help you gain a clearer understanding of your experiences. Every step we take together is fully based on your consent.
You might also feel drawn to express yourself in other creative ways, like drawing, writing, or even delving into your dreams. For many people, tapping into creativity and using metaphors can be a powerful way to explore and make sense of their emotions.
My first session
During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and gently exploring what brought you here. We’ll talk about the changes you’re hoping for, any questions or worries you might have, and simply start laying the foundation of trust and comfort.
It’s absolutely normal to feel a bit nervous or unsure—that’s exactly why our initial meeting focuses on putting you at ease. We’ll go over important practical details, like session length and scheduling, as well as discuss confidentiality, so you’ll know just what to expect.
Most importantly, this time is all about supporting you. We’ll look at your experiences, your hopes, and your vision for the future. By the end of our session, you’ll have a clearer idea of how we can work together to help you feel more at peace and on a path toward meaningful growth.
