About me and my therapy practice

We all have experiences that can be difficult to carry on our own. Sometimes we need space to untangle our thoughts, understand our feelings, or simply be heard without pressure to have everything figured out.

Therapy offers a place to do exactly that.

I am an experienced integrative counsellor working with adults (18+) and couples. I offer a reflective and collaborative space where we can explore whatever is bringing you to therapy, whether that is a specific challenge, a significant life event, difficulties within relationships, or a growing sense that something in your life needs attention.

Alongside my general counselling practice, I have specialist training in fertility counselling. I have particular experience supporting people through fertility challenges, assisted conception, pregnancy and parenthood, relationship difficulties, loss, and the many transitions that life can bring.

My approach is tailored to the individual or couple sitting in front of me. I am interested in understanding not only the difficulties you are facing, but also the wider context of your life, relationships and experiences. Together, we can make sense of what is happening, deepen understanding, and consider what moving forward might look like for you.

I believe that meaningful change often begins not with finding immediate answers, but with giving ourselves the time and space to ask important questions.

I am a registered member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA).

My first session

I suggest an initial free 15-20 min chat on the phone to check what is bringing you to therapy, that I feel I can help and that my availability matches yours.

Following this I offer a reduced rate ‘assessment session’, which offers you the opportunity to find out if I am the right therapist for you and for both of us to decide if we might be able to work effectively together.
