About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified, MBACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist specializing in mental health support. I work exclusively online, offering 50‑minute sessions via Zoom. Online therapy provides a unique opportunity for therapeutic counselling in a space that feels familiar, comfortable, and safe, allowing you the flexibility to incorporate therapy into your life in a way that works for you.
I grew up in London and hold a Master’s degree in Therapeutic Counselling from the University of Greenwich. As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw from Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches. This diverse background enables me to tailor our work to your unique needs, experiences, and pace.
My experience includes several years of working and volunteering within the charity sector, covering schools, universities, hospice settings, and the mental health charity Mind. I have supported individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and life stages, bringing a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach to every therapeutic relationship.
Throughout the years, I have worked with clients facing various challenges, including:
- Stress and anxiety
- Depression
- Bereavement and loss
- Relationship difficulties
- Low self-esteem
- Work-related stress and redundancy
- Bullying
- Trauma
- Social anxiety
- Miscarriage and fertility challenges
- Eating difficulties
- Terminal illness
- Anger
- Experiences of abuse (sexual, domestic, physical, financial, discriminatory, psychological)
- Suicidal thoughts and self-harm.
Whatever you may be carrying, therapy offers a space where your story can be heard with care, respect, and without judgement. My aim is to support you in exploring your experiences, understanding yourself more deeply, and finding a way forward that feels authentic and meaningful.
Practice description
Therapy offers a confidential, supportive space where you can explore your emotional and mental wellbeing with someone who is independent, attuned, and non‑judgemental. It’s a place where your experiences can be spoken, held, and understood at your pace, making it an essential aspect of mental health support.
Many people seek psychotherapy when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. Together, we can look more closely at the difficulties you’re facing, deepen your understanding of yourself, and explore what might help you feel more grounded, resourced, and connected.
Therapeutic counselling can support you in finding new ways of coping, relating, and responding to the challenges in your life. It can also offer a safe space to talk about things you may not feel able to share with anyone else — experiences that feel too heavy, too complex, or too private to carry alone.
Sessions usually take place once a week and can be short‑term, long‑term, or open‑ended. The length and focus of our work will depend on your needs, your goals, and what feels right for you. My role is to walk alongside you, offering a steady, compassionate presence as you make sense of your experiences and move toward the changes you hope for.
