I currently offer an 8 week evidence based training to help people develop greater self compassion shown to increase emotional resilience by cultivating mindfulness and self-kindness. It focuses on building internal resources to respond to personal struggles with compassion rather than harsh self-criticism. This is an evidence based programme, currently offered in the NHS and Probation Services and other clinical settings https://centerformsc.org/

Practice description

I am lucky enough to teach what I love. As a lecturer in Counselling and a Mindful Self Compassion teacher I have worked with hundreds of people to develpp new ways of being.

Through my own journey with developing my own mindfulness and a kinder and more supportive inner voice I have learnt how self compassion can be such a significant support whatever the challenges.

I am quite practical and pragmatic in my approach - that developing self compassion is like training a muscle. And training with other people in a group can really support the process and part of what I do is create the right conditions to make that happen.

To find out more about what I offer please email me to arrange a call.
