About me and my therapy practice
Hello, and a warm welcome to you.
I’m Pam a qualified and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with over 10 years of experience supporting people within the NHS, counselling charities and private practice. I am a neurodivergent therapist and have experience working with neurodivergence.
Reaching out for support can feel like one of the hardest steps to take. You might be feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, low, grieving, or simply not quite yourself. Sometimes life changes suddenly. Sometimes it slowly becomes heavy. Either way, you don’t have to carry it alone.
I truly believe that when we are offered the right space one that feels safe, accepting and free from judgement something powerful can begin to shift. My role is not to tell you what to do or who to be, but to walk alongside you. To really listen. To understand your world as you experience it.
At Peace of Mind Counselling, I offer a calm, confidential and compassionate space where you can explore whatever feels important to you. There is no pressure and no expectation just time and room for you.
I offer face-to-face counselling in Redditch, as well as online and telephone sessions, allowing flexibility around your life and commitments.
If you’re feeling unsure about starting counselling, that’s completely natural. I will meet you with warmth, authenticity and respect. Together, we can work towards helping you reconnect with yourself and move toward a greater sense of clarity and peace.
Practice description
My professional training includes:
• Foundation Degree in Person-Centred Counselling & Psychotherapy
• PCE CfD Counsellor (Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression)
• PCE CfD Supervisor
• Person-Centred Supervisor
• Certificate in Counselling Skills Level 2
• Diploma in Health Care
• Mental Health First Aid (extensive training and applied experience)
• Freedom and Form Supervision
Over the past decade, I have supported people experiencing depression, anxiety, bereavement, caring responsibilities, end-of-life journeys, and the impact of life-changing diagnoses.
My early background in carer support deeply shaped my understanding of how quietly people can struggle while appearing “strong” on the outside. I have worked within charities, the NHS and private practice, and I continue to be moved by the courage people show when they allow themselves to be heard.
My approach is person-centred at its core. I may gently incorporate mindfulness where helpful, but our work is always guided by you — your pace, your needs, your story. I work holistically, recognising that emotional wellbeing connects with every part of your life.
As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. This includes ongoing supervision and continuing professional development, ensuring that I offer safe, ethical and reflective practice.
I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and am fully insured.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome.
Alongside my counselling practice, I offer clinical supervision for qualified counsellors and counsellors in training. I am a Person-Centred Supervisor, a PCE CfD Supervisor, and an experienced practitioner with over 10 years of clinical experience across the NHS, charities and private practice.
I know that supervision is far more than case management. It is a space to pause, reflect, question, feel supported and sometimes feel challenged in ways that strengthen both you and your client work.
My intention as a supervisor is to create a relationship where you feel safe enough to be open, honest and human. A space where uncertainty is welcome. Where mistakes can be explored without fear. Where growth happens naturally through thoughtful reflection.
My approach to supervision
My supervisory work is rooted in the person-centred approach. I aim to offer the same core conditions in supervision that I offer to clients empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard while also holding clear ethical and professional boundaries.
Supervision with me is:
• Collaborative rather than hierarchical
• Reflective and exploratory
• Grounded in ethical awareness
• Supportive of your autonomy and professional identity
As a PCE CfD Supervisor, I can also offer model-specific supervision for therapists working within Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression.
I believe good supervision should leave you feeling clearer, steadier and more confident in your work not judged or diminished. It should be somewhere you can bring the work that moves you, challenges you, frustrates you, or touches you personally.
