About me and my therapy practice
I believe that healing begins when we stop trying to 'fix' ourselves and start to truly inhabit who we already are. My work is a gentle, restorative response to the harshness we often encounter in life, a space where you can finally let go of the pressure to be anything other than your authentic self.
My approach is deeply influenced by the time I spent in Vietnam and Cambodia, where I witnessed the radical, quiet power of acceptance. This perspective, combined with my own journey through burnout, allows me to meet you with genuine empathy as a fellow traveler. We meet as equals, moving away from the constant noise of self-criticism and toward a sense of internal ease.
I offer a space that is vivid, intuitive, and deeply kind. I am here to help you move out of the 'exhaustion of performance' and into a life that feels sustainable and deeply yours. If the world has felt too loud, too demanding, or too critical, I offer a softening, a relationship where you are heard, understood, and safely held until you feel strong enough to fly.
Practice description
I work with adults (18+) and couples, offering a restorative space to navigate life’s complex transitions. Many people come to see me when they are questioning the 'cargo' of their lives, whether that involves the reflections of aging, changes in family dynamics, or the heavy landscape of loss and bereavement.
I have a particular heart for those in 'giving' roles, fellow counsellors, healthcare workers, and carers, who are navigating the exhaustion of burnout or compassion fatigue. I understand that when you spend your life holding space for others, you need a sanctuary where you can finally be the one who is held.
- For Individuals: I see our work as an adventure. Together, we explore your inner world at a pace that respects your history. I recognise that meaningful change takes time; like a large cargo ship, our lives carry significant momentum, and I am here to hold the space as you slowly and gently find a new course.
- For Couples: I provide a neutral harbor. We explore patterns of communication and connection, creating a space where both partners can feel heard without judgment as we look at the interpersonal aspects of the relationship.
My first session
Before booking a first appointment, I offer a free 30-minute phone or online chat. This is a quiet, informal opportunity for you to ask questions, share a little of what has brought you here, and see if my way of working feels like a good fit. There is no pressure to commit; it is simply a chance to see if you feel comfortable.
- For Individuals: Your first full session is a time for us to settle into the space together. We will talk about your current challenges and what you hope to gain from our time. It’s a chance for you to experience the pace of our work and address any practical questions about how we move forward.
- For Couples: I invite both partners to complete a brief life history questionnaire before we meet. This provides a helpful context for the patterns and communication styles you wish to explore. Our first session then focuses on creating a neutral, collaborative space where both of you can feel heard as we agree on the best way to work together.
A Supportive Starting Point: Regardless of the challenges you are facing, this first meeting is about establishing safety. My aim is for you to leave the session feeling clearer about the process and supported in your own timing.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative practitioner and qualified supervisor dedicated to Relational Sustainability. I believe that the most powerful tool a helper has is their own unique presence. My work is specifically designed for:
- The Independent Practitioner: Navigating the creative but often lonely path of private practice.
- The Professional Care-Giver: Those holding space for others in high-pressure roles who need a restorative place to land.
Rooted in Petrūska Clarkson’s Five-Relationship model, I prioritise a warm, human-to-human connection that honours your lived experience and your professional integrity.
Practice description
My supervision style is a blend of empowerment and ethical rigour. I recognise that those who move through the world differently often possess professional superpowers; creativity, deep intuition, and a unique way of seeing the world, that are vital to the work.
Using the Seven-Eyed Model, I provide the containment needed to keep these creative gifts safely anchored within the BACP Ethical Framework. This is a non-pathologising, restorative partnership. I don’t aim to 'correct' your style; instead, I provide the relational accountability that ensures you stay unsinkable, ethical, and deeply inspired in your practice.
My first session
Our initial supervision session is a space to explore the Working Alliance. For those in high-pressure roles, I provide a restorative environment where we can step away from 'vertical' demands and focus on your professional sustainability.
What to expect:
- Developing the Bond: We will explore your current work and how your unique creative superpowers can be harnessed to support your clients or team.
- Setting the Anchor: I work with a formal supervision contract which I provide before our work commences. During this session, we will discuss this together to ensure our partnership is firmly anchored in the BACP Ethical Framework.
- The Seven-Eyed Perspective: We will look at how we use the Seven-Eyed Model to track your work, ensuring you feel safely supported and professionally grounded without feeling 'critiqued' or judged.
The Goal:
My aim is for you to leave this first session feeling lighter and more equipped. This is a collaborative space; we are checking to see if our relational styles align so that you can work at your best, free from the exhaustion of professional masking.
