About me and my therapy practice

I provide online therapy sessions so you can access support in a way that feels flexible, convenient, and manageable alongside your everyday life.

I am a warm, experienced counsellor, psychologist and psychotherapist offering therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and periods of feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

You may be seeking therapy because life has recently become difficult, or because you have noticed longer-standing patterns in how you feel, relate to others, or cope with the demands placed on you. Whatever has brought you here, therapy can offer a calm, compassionate and confidential space to speak openly, make sense of your experiences, and begin to find a way forward.

My approach is integrative, drawing on CBT, relational and psychodynamic approaches. This means that, alongside easing immediate distress and developing practical ways of coping, we can also explore the deeper patterns that may be shaping your emotions, relationships and sense of self. Over time, this can help you develop greater self-understanding, more compassion for yourself, and new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Clients often share that therapy with me helps them to see their lives and relationships more clearly, feel less alone with their difficulties, and begin to thrive in ways they had not thought possible.

I work with adults aged 18 and above. If you would like to explore whether therapy with me feels right, please contact me to arrange a free 15-minute assessment call.

Practice description

I offer a calm, compassionate and non-judgemental space to explore what is happening in your life and to think carefully about what might help. People come to therapy for many different reasons: anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, work stress, bereavement, questions of identity, or a sense of feeling stuck. You do not need to have everything worked out before starting; therapy can be a place to make sense of things at your own pace.

My approach is integrative, drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavioural therapies. This means I am interested both in your current difficulties and in the wider patterns, relationships and experiences that may have shaped them. I work collaboratively, combining careful listening with thoughtful reflection and practical strategies where these are helpful.

As a HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist, I bring clinical experience alongside an academic background in psychology, mental health and culture. I aim to offer therapy that is warm, thoughtful and grounded, helping you develop greater insight, self-understanding and the possibility of lasting change.

I provide online therapy sessions so you can access support in a way that feels flexible, convenient, and manageable alongside your everyday life. I also offer a free initial consultation so we can think together about what you are looking for and whether I may be the right therapist for you.

My first session

I offer a free initial 15-minute consultation, usually by phone or video. This gives us a chance to briefly discuss what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and whether I may be the right therapist for you.

If we decide to arrange an initial therapy session, this is usually charged at my standard session fee. In the first session, we will take time to think together about what is currently feeling difficult, relevant background, your hopes for therapy, and any practical details such as confidentiality, session frequency and how we might work together.

You do not need to prepare anything in advance. Some people come with a clear focus; others simply know that something feels difficult or stuck. The first session is a space to begin making sense of this at your own pace and to decide whether continuing therapy feels helpful.
