About me and my therapy practice
A BACP Accredited Integrative Counsellor, I offer you an honest, down-to-earth and friendly approach in a safe, inclusive and non-judgemental therapeutic space
My approach is centred around you; supporting you to explore your specific needs within your own context. I welcome all aspects of you as an individual, incorporating any spiritual or religious beliefs, and inclusive of all sexual orientations and genders. The aim being to equip you with the self-awareness and resources to be able to make conscious choices, facilitate change and live intentionally.
Counselling is most effective when you find the right practitioner for you, so my initial consultation process involves a 15-minute discovery call and a 30-minute face to face or online consultation free of charge. This way we have time to decide if we are the right fit, and if my skill set complements your needs and goals.
As an Integrative Counsellor I incorporate elements of Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioural and Transactional Analysis therapeutic models. This means I tailor the therapeutic process to fit you and your individual needs.
My understanding of human beings is that to be truly connected to our intuition, we must also be connected to our body. Using the latest developments in Neuroscience and Polyvagal theory to explore this connection, my aim in therapy is to support you until you feel fully resourced within yourself.

My first session
Following the free 15-minute discovery call, and 30-minute consultation, our first session will be used to establish how we are going to use our time together.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I will encourage you to explore what you are looking for before we start our work together. We will first explore goals to give us structure, focus, and direction in our work. Setting clear and specific goals sets us up for a more beneficial therapeutic process overall.
There is also a small amount of paperwork we will complete, a necessity at the beginning of any therapeutic relationship.
