EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based trauma-focused therapy recommended as a first-line treatment for PTSD. While EMDR is a specialist part of my practice, I work with a wide range of emotional, psychological and life difficulties using an integrative approach tailored to each individual.

I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Psychology and completed the first year of an MSc in Mental Health Science, alongside extensive postgraduate psychotherapy training.
My earlier career as a Police Officer and later in Major Crime Investigations gave me extensive experience of trauma, crisis and high-pressure environments. I also trained as a Critical Incident Debriefer, supporting police personnel experiencing extreme stress and crisis.
