I do not offer sessions after 6pm or at weekends.

Having worked for Relate for many years I am now also working with adults, couples and Young People privately. I believe that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is of primary importance in creating a productive and effective counselling engagement so I encourage you to contact me to find out whether we believe we could work together. I work in an integrative way combining a systemic and psychodynamic approach, tailoring my practice to find a safe space where we can address whatever issues you are facing at the moment.

I am also qualified to offer clinical supervision to trainee or fully qualified therapists. 

I work from premises at my home address and also online via Zoom. 

I would normally discuss any future work on the phone or via email or via Zoom before arranging a first paid session. This is so we can get to know each other and establish the themes and scope of the therapy before committing to future sessions. I will send you a copy of a document which describes me and my practice before we start working together.

I hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling Supervision from the University of Worcester. My supervision experience started  with Relate in 2017, working with trainees and qualified counsellors who see Adult Individuals, Couples and Young People. I have now been working privately as a Supervisor since 2019. I offer professional Supervision to those working outside the Counselling profession as well with particular experience to date with Senior Leaders in Education. I work in an Integrative way using Psychodynamic and Systemic models. I can offer face to face sessions at my premises in Woking or Zoom sessions.

Before a first session I would like to have a conversation either by phone, Zoom or email to try to get to know each other better so that we can try to decide whether or not the supervisory relationship might work between us.
