I have flexible availability and I can usually schedule appointments at short notice. I offer short and long term therapy, typically seeing clients for weekly sessions.
About me and my therapy practice
Prioritising the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my practice and it's important that you feel comfortable working with me. Seeking support is daunting which is why I offer a free introductory phone conversation.
I specialize in loss and trauma. Having worked with bereavement for a while now, I co-facilitate grief groups at The Maudsley. I also have a special interest in existential concerns relating to how we derive meaning and purpose in our lives. I focus on support and how one builds resources and then uses them outside of the therapeutic room. Supporting and creating a safe space for all my clients is essential to me. I am passionate about helping and supporting individuals to tap into their own strengths no matter what the reason for coming in is. It could be grief, ADD, gender identity or relationship issues. I offer a space that is non-judgmental and supportive .
My first session
My first session is for a full hour where I will start an assessment and give the client a chance to see how the interaction and space feels for them.
